Description of Work: The sale presentation was very professional, but the price they wanted for replacing the insulation in our attic was way beyond my budget. I did decide to get a solar fan installed in the attic, a dehumidifier installed in our crawl space, several areas of ceiling sheet rock replaced, a replacement door on our crawl space and the 500 sq. ft. on installation that I had originally paid for. The issue arose when one of their inexperienced workers fell through the ceiling in my living room/dining room. I was told by them that because we had popcorn ceiling, it could never be matched and the total room would have to be scraped. They gave me the name of a painter to do the job, but I could not get him to return phone calls. After a month or so, I hired my own painting crew to do the repairs and some other work. That portion of the work cost me $800 and the F.A.T. has refused to refund the money. I have contacted them multiple times by email with no resolution. There are a lot of companies offering similar services. I would not recommend using this company.

Description of Work: We purchased this big deal 1/28/2014 to get $500 worth of attic insulation. An energy audit was done on 2/17. The gentleman that performed the audit did a thorough and professional job however after that we did not hear back from the company. We listed and sold our house in May. We still have the unused big deal that we purchased for insulation and would like to use it in our new home (no audit necessary). It would be greatly appreciated if someone would contact us to use our purchase.

I was very impressed that they did not try to upsell me on uneeded services as the check on my crawlspace yielded no mold or excessive moisture. This is an honorable company and I will use them again if I need any of their services performed. Kudos.

Description of Work: We paid for the service. Two men came out, one stayed to do an energy survey, the "salesman" left after verifying where the insulation we purchased would be placed and how to access it. That was fine, and we appreciated the energy report, but the installation of the $99 worth of insulation in our attic never happened, no call was made to set up an appointment, and we have received no a contact since they realized that we were not going to buy additional services. Beginning to think this was a scam!

Description of Work: The Fresh Air Technologies folks cleaned up and lined my crawl space. They also corrected some problems I was having with gutter runoff. Their crew did a great job leaving the site in much better shape than it was before they started.

Description of Work: The big deal was for an independent energy audit. I would highly recommend this for any homeowner. The detailed audit shows me what maintenance and upgrades need priority.

When I called the office, I was told that the work had been rescheduled. I told the staff member that I had never been called or emailed. When he checked further, he found that an incorrect phone number had been listed in their records. How the rescheduling had been "confirmed by phone", he could not tell me. | |The first day of work took place in our attic area. Pete and his crew were excellent. They were punctual, courteous, and professional, and they worked diligently all day to complete that phase of the job. Since I was not home, I do not know any details about how things went. I did not hear anything, so I assumed that it went well. I figured that I would get a call from the office in a few days to let me know that all had been finished, but after a week of no correspondence, I called them. I paid the remaining balance, asked for a Certificate of Completion for my records. | |Upon re-inspection, Scott found everything in the attic to be in great shape. The crawl space, though, had some spots that had been missed. I called the office and they said that they would send Pete out to check it out and correct anything that had been missed. Pete came to the house on the scheduled day and did find some overlooked areas which he took care of at that time.
