The technician that came out, David Morris, did a fantastic job, very thorough and easily communicated his thoughts on the system and any future actions we may need to take in upcoming years. We did add about 1.25 lbs of refrigerant as well to one of our units to ensure that all operates as desired during the hot days of summer in the Carolinas come August.

Ray and his team are great! My elderly mom was told by another large AC company she needed to replace her 7 year old AC unit at the cost of $10k. Had air care do a second opinion. Ray took time to understand her situation and confirmed she did not need to replace the system. Very honest and price for repair was much more reasonable!

Great communication and did what they said they would do. Clean and neat with good follow-up on questions and concerns. Ray was great to work with.

They were on time and friendly. Told me that we had a leak and that our A/C did not have enough refrigerant to last through the next season. Basically, told us that the system wasn't working properly. When we questioned why we were getting a/c in the house and it was clearly blowing cold air as opposed to what he said, he reinvestigated. He said that his meter/hose? wasn't tightened all the way and he got an incorrect reading. He corrected himself and said everything was working properly but only after we questioned him. I don't know if it was an honest mistake or a ploy to gain unnecessary work but, either way, it left us with enough of a question to avoid using him in the future.

I bought one of the coupons from Angie's List with this company. I have two units, one for the downstairs and one for the upstairs, and he did come out and do the tune-ups. He was able to come out pretty quickly. I had a good experience with him. Initially I was not able to get a hold of him, but when I called the Angie's List I guess somebody like you answered the phone and they contacted him directly and as soon as he actually was able to get in touch with me then everything was fine. I think he was just a little overwhelmed by the interest from the coupon and was having trouble responding all of the interest. He was very quick and I am assuming everything went fine. He was sort of in and out, and then gone within an hour. After he went, actually one of the units went out in July, but when I called my home warranty company they could not find anything wrong with it, so I do not think it was because of something that he missed.

His service was great. He spent a good amount of time with my husband. We found him to be honest and ethical. He gave us options and told us what to address in the future. He could have got a lot more work out of us but he was honest. We appreciated that. He accommodated my scheduling needs. He was nice and personable. We really liked him and will continue to use his services.

i used Ray for the Angie's List Deal for our ac tune up. it was performed quickly and on time. He scheduled the appointment and actually called to let us know he was running a bit late that day. He till got to the house at a reasonable time and completed the work.
I give him a C for responsiveness because shortly after, we decided to have a second zone installed upstairs with a new unit. I contacted him directly to come out and quote the work but basically told him on the phone that he had the job provided there were no issues when he came to check everything out. The appointment was 10:00 AM June 9. I called at 11 that day and left a message and still to this day (July 19) have not heard anything back. We had the work performed by a larger company in Charlotte who were on time, responsive, and great to deal with but because of the lack of call back, i would not use their services again.

I can't say enough good things about Ray and his service. We had been using the big advertising Ac guys, when a friend recommended Air Care. Ray believes in fixing your unit and not trying to scare you into buying new equipment. We've owned our home for four years and the two AC units have never run better. The thermostat is set and runs perfectly at the desired temperature which is something the other guys were never able to fix, even though we had spent way more money with them. Ray is professional and very competent.

Ray came last winter and repaired our furnace and told us he would come back in the spring to put a part on our air conditioner. He called us right on time came out and repaired our air conditioner. He told us we may need another part . He said he would come back if it went out. He is always interested in saving us money and tells us the truth. We are so glad that we have found an honest , professional, company to do our heating and air condtioning problems. What a blessing in this day and time.

I used a Big Deal for $79.00 for a preseason A/C Tune-up, 31 point Inspection and 1 lb of Refrigerant (if needed). I called Ray, the owner of Air Care, for an appointment. He arrived on time and was very personable. He used shoe covers when he needed to check the vents and thermostat inside the house to protect my carpet. Since our system is 6 years old he recommended A/C Renew that is added to the system to help keep it working smoothly. Our system was running normally and we did not need the refrigerant. Ray did not pressure us to buy anything we did not need. I would use him again.

Ray showed up on time, and was honest, professional and reasonable. He'll discuss the issues with you and not try to upsell at every turn, which is a rare combination. He goes out of his way to satisfy his customers and I will definitely continue to ask Ray to work on my rental properties and primary residence.

Repairman showed up on time and was very friendly. He did what he had to do and assured me all way ok with my AC unit. I was please with the service. I got the deal for a $79.00 AC tune up on Angies List which I thought was a great deal.

Ray did a great job. Showed up on time, took a quick survey of the unit in the attic and went outside and cleaned the unit and the coils, which was caked over with dirt. Identified that the capaciter on the unit was reading low and explained how that could effect the rest of the unit as the weather got hotter. Work was completed quickly and thoroughly. Overall good experience and I would definately hire Ray again.

I can't say enough good things about Ray and his company. He was on time, he examined my unit,
checked for the thermostats to make sure they were calibrated correctly. He recommended that I change
my filter, which I did, he did not try and charge me to do it himself. Also replaced a part on my HVAC unit
for what I considered a reasonable price. There was absolutely no pressure, and I felt like he was
honest and will always just tell you what you need to do, and not try and sell you something you don't need.

We wanted to have our heating system checked before winter. Brian from Air Care Heating and Cooling called me about 1/2 hour before the appointment to let me know he was on his way. He showed up with on time, with a smile on his face and a handshake. He was very pleasant and seemed happy to be there. He explained everything that he was going to do that day. He went over in detail everything that he inspected, cleaned and tested. He put "booties" over his shoes so he would not get my carpet dirty (bonus points for that!). Since we hadn't had our system cleaned/checked in six years, we did have him replace a relatively inexpensive small part (blower capacitor) on each of our two units that will help extend the life of our heating units. Brian did not try to push us into anything we didn't need (as many HVAC companies do). I will definitely use Air Care Heating and Cooling again and highly recommend this company to my friends, neighbors and Angies List!

I live in an old house built in the 50's and was having a lot of problems with paint sticking to the original paint on the plaster. I Had another company come in and do it and they totally messed it up. Ray came in and did all the painting in a difficult situation. I had just put new cabinets in so it wasn't the easiest place to paint. He came in and did an excellent job and on a timely manner.
