In general, trees do not need frequent and aggressive pruning or topping. However, steps can be taken to help the overall health of your trees. We most often recommend removing any diseased or deadwood from trees, crown thinning, elevation of lower limbs, and weight reduction to strengthen limbs. Crown reduction is a method that may be done to reduce the size of a tree and yet keep its natural form. Fed up with this huge stump in our backyard my wife started calling around but no one had a stump grinder small enough to fit through our gate. When she reached Michael, not only did he have the grinder to do it, but he could be there that afternoon! I arrived at our house and he and an assistant had already started on the stump and they quickly had the job finished and everything cleaned up.
Throughout the process Michael and his assistant were friendly but worked hard to get the job done. They cleaned up when they were finished and left me with a nice pile of wood chips where my stump had been. They even took a bunch of roots and branches I had collected but hadn't had time to dispose of yet.
I highly recommend Michael Lindsey and Lindsey's Landscaping and Tree Removal Services. I will never call anyone else again for anything tree or landscape related. They were competively priced, fully insured, friendly, professional, and prompt. Definitely a class act.
