Date of damage/loss was 8/29/2012. Repair/restoration was started 9/5/2012. Servpro Did Not give an estimate for repair. Workers would show up at 'will' and stay for a short period of time & leave with out any mention of when they would return. Some one had to be at home at all time in case they decided to 'show up' to do any work. More than 75 % of the work they did had to be torn out and redone by someone else due to the sloppy work done. The company sent bills for work and materials that were not used on this job site. Numerous calls were made to the the insurance company about the work and billing that was done by Servpro. After more than a month of Serpro and their employees, they were told Not to come back again and someone else was hired to correct and complete the repairs/restoration.(After someone else was hired, the job was finished in 2 days.) This was a very small job and should have taken no less than 10 days to complete including 'drying time' from the water damage. A new walk in shower had been installed approximately one month before the damage and Serpro employees broke this while removing & reinstalling and hid the broken part. They also damaged the the drain line and it had to be replaced. Water lines to reconnect the commode were not installed properly and left the commode leaking, vinyl floor covering was cut too big around commode & had to be replaced, linen closet was rebuilt improperly and had to be torn out and rebuilt, (bathroom door would not open & close properly) . There were many other things that had to be corrected at this job site. Do Not let anyone do any work without a written, signed contract and complete estimate for repairs. DO NOT use SERPRO for Any reason. Their work is sloppy & inferior and the billing is complicated to understand. After all insurance claims were paid, they did not send a statement to show that the final bill had been paid in full. The insurance company was contacted, again, and a final bill was received from SERVPRO dated 2/16/2013 reflecting $0 amount due. Wow, only 4 months for something that should have completed in less than a month???
Description of Work: Had water damage to master bath and bedroom due to leaking water heater. Never was quoted a price to do the necessary repairs. Workers would show up 'at will' and stay for 3-4 hours and leave with no confirmation when they would be back. After several weeks of this and being unable to use bathroom and bedroom, someone else was hired to come in and 'clean up' faulty repairs and complete the repair work. A new walk in shower was installed in this bathroom approximately one month before the water damage. Repairmen reinstalled this incorrectly and broke a corner of the shower. Flooring in bathroom was uneven and had to be redone. Vinyl in bathroom was cut too large for commode opening and had to be replaced. Linen closet was rebuilt and it was too large for door to bathroom to open and close properly and no openings were cut out to allow access to water supply lines. Linen closet had to be torn out and rebuilt. When a bill was received from Servpro, it listed items that were not completed as well as materials that were not used at this job site. After the new water heater was installed with a drip pan underneath, Servpro moved the water heater and broke the drip pan.

The service was horrible. They packed my stuff by throwing int in a box and not bothering to label anything. Many things were broken or just missing. They had little respect for things that meant a lot to me, many things that were things passed down through the years. They even stuffed my Dad's Flag from his burial in a trash bag and threw in the garage. The women were breaking things and were so inconsiderate. I felt like I had to watch their every move. The paint jobs was horrible and was never finished. I finally said please just go and don't come back. I can't take any more of this. I will never use them again.
Description of Work: This was an insurance claim. So no direct out of pocket expenses occured other than the deductible. Repair smoke and water damage things in my house that burned. The whole house needed repair.
