For this particular job, I would say I was a pretty difficult customer. I was not sure on the type of fencing I wanted or the configuration I wanted it built in. I was first quoted for a 6' wood shadowbox fence, that based on a wooden fence I had built at my other house, seemed very reasonable in price. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel that fencing order. They were very understanding and canceled it upon my request. When I was in the position to get another estimate, I had changed my mind both in the material I wanted and the configuration. I ended up getting a 6' black chainlink fence around the perimeter of my yard with a secondary privacy fence between myself and my neighbor. I had decided on two fences because I really wanted to be able to see the woods in my back yard, but also wanted to reduce the stress that my neighbor was feeling with me having two bigger dogs. Jason, the estimator, was very accommodating, nice, and knowledgeable. He made many recommendations to help me find the type and configuration of fencing that would make me happy. I was concerned that the 6' chain link fence would have a "correctional facility" look to it, but I can tell you, it is beautiful! Both fences are! The gentlemen that came to my house to do the work were very friendly and completely cleaned up after themselves.
Comparing this experience to the experience I had going through Home Depot for my other fence, I would say that this far exceeded my expectations, especially in service!

They did a terrific job! Always on time, very responsive and pro-active, plus they built a beautiful fence. Beat the Lowes price by $1000. We had a little hick-up with the latch and Jon took care of it immediately and did not stop until we were 100% satisfied. We wish everyone conducted themselves and provided the quality service and construction that Diversified did. Highly recommend.

It went great! Jon Folsom was very professional in his estimate and actually gave me the estimate before he left the property. He was the only one who mentioned getting a survey done before the fence was put in. Linda, in the office, followed up with me regularly to check to see if we made a decision but she was not pushy about it. She was very helpful when I had questions. The guys who did the actual work were very fast and efficient. Overall, it was a great experience, and we have a great looking fence!!

We found this company through a referral. John, the owner, responded quickly with a visit and discussed options for fencing our yard and installing gates. We wanted something attractive and upscale but, of course, at reasonable price. We were also concerned that the work be done efficiently and in a timely fashion. As picky consumers, we had already contacted and rejected two other local companies whose representatives behaved as if they were doing us a favor by coming out. John took the time to discuss all options, ordered the materials quickly and installation was efficient and timely. The team of installers were respectful of our yard and flowers. During a particularly rainy season, they still managed to install what we consider a beautiful fence in one day. We found John to be punctual, responsive, easy to get in contact with, and diligent about inspecting the job. We are very pleased and recommend this company without reservation.

Response was immediate, and Mr. Folsom was punctual and professional. He had some really good ideas for fencing in my yard, which I was doing mostly to deter deer from eating my perennials. Diversified Fence provided an estimate very quickly, and it was right in line with other fence builders in my area. In the end, I chose another company, but I highly recommend Diversified Fence Builders.

"After seeing this review we went out and adjusted the gate and replaced the missing cap within one week. The information on the phone call was not left with our office but with the salesman's personal cell phone and he was no longer with the company. Thanks for the great feedback and after those changes I hope you can say we get an "A" in the other two categories."
