+ -1 moreI ordered a pair of chairs from FLS and asked for the wood tone I saw on the floor sample. It was a very light, blonde tone and would have matched my existing furniture nicely. The salesperson told me that color had been discontinued and recommended another color. When the chairs arrived at my home they were espresso colored. They don't go with the wood in my home and I don't care for the color. I complained immediately and spent literally six months being passed around between different "customer service" agents. In the end they will not fix the chairs or take them back. I am stuck with them. I have since discovered that any furniture vendor in my area will match or beat FLS prices, so I no longer feel the need to endure the mistakes, bad advice, and non-existent customer service.

+ -1 moreI really like the salesman we worked with, Richard Pope. He doesn’t push a hard sell because he’s more interested in building relationships. We’ve worked with him several times, and I’d recommend him to others. One downfall is that delivery can take a very long time, maybe three or four months. They do make you aware of this upfront though. Also, they only take checks and no credit cards.
Description of Work: They are mega warehouse, and they offer high quality furniture at great prices.

Description of Work: We purchased several pieces of furniture. With regard to one of them, after two attempts to deliver and put it together, we have given up on Furnitureland South. Installers do not read the directions and at least some of the products seem prone to defects as we are on the second defective piece of the same delivery.

+ -1 moreThis has been horrendous! I would definitely not buy anything from Furnitureland South or Bradington-Young which is the chair manufacturer.
Description of Work: I purchased a leather recliner. The recliner was damaged when it was delivered. I contacted them to have it repaired and they sent someone out to fix it. The problem was that the dye was coming of the leather. The dye continued to come off after it was repaired. When I contacted them about this they told me the 'This leather is not defective. It does not rub off easily, but it does cause the lighter brown to show through if it is rubbed off with something such as animal claws, a ring, or fingernails hitting it', I do not expect the dye to come off a chair in 1 month and I also do not expect that the dye would come off the leather as a result of a ring or fingernail rubbing against it. They refuse to replace this chair.
