Amazing Job!

Awesome company... the whole process was smooth and easy . There sales manager came out on sat Nov 7 paid them on Monday Nov 9 and another associate came out tues Nov 10 to measure and they put the new roof on Friday Nov 13. They came at 7 am Friday morning and were done by 3 pm and cleaned everything up and it looks great. I would recommend them. Professional and reliable.

Done completely in one day. Cleanup was really good. Would hire them again And recommend them To anyone.

The crew did an excellent job! They were efficient & I would most certainly hire this crew again. Work was top notch. They cleaned up the area. In fact it was left in better shape than they found it!

Iâ m happy with the roof, the roof installers and for Doug fixing our window screen and for cleaning up various tar marks on our vinyl siding. Beyond that, I would NOT recommend this company. Iâ ve never had a new roof and Iâ ve never been in the roofing industry, so this is all new to me. BUT if this is the example of how you run a roofing business or a business at all, then I never want to be part of it. They wouldnâ t give us a breakdown on the cost of the roof, so we feel like we got ripped off. We got a breakdown of the cost when we remodeled our master bathroom and back deck (two different companies). So why was this any different? We gave the 8K upfront and didnâ t hear anything for a few weeks. Then one day they asked to measure the roof, needed another 8K and gave us less than an hour notice of showing up. We didnâ t hear anything for awhile after that, then all of a sudden we got a voicemail, text and email on a Thursday that they wanted to start the next day. Before we even had the chance to respond, all the roofing material just shows up. Thatâ s so unprofessional. Anyway the roofing crew showed up the next day and took 3 days to complete everything. Those guys were very professional and never caused us any issue. After they were done, they informed us the trailer would get picked up by their boss and they left. The trailer tires were flat. I figured whoever picked it up, would do an inspection on the roof. About 3 days later someone pulls up, fixes the tires and just left with the trailer. I just told myself to see how long itâ ll take to get an inspection done. It took over 2 weeks for someone to call, stating they wanted to do an inspection and get the rest of the money. Thatâ s when Doug showed up, checked the roof, fixed a few things and left. No cost breakdown. No advance notice about any of this. Took forever to inspect the roof and I honestly feel like we got overcharged by a ton. I wouldnâ t recommend them based on all of that.

Excited to be working with Adam Powell and his crew. He was prompt with his appointment, explained everything in detail, honored my military service and my senior citizen status, and assisted us with financing the project. He assured us he would be tracking the project closely and keeping us informed all the way. Very reasonable pricing for a quality product!

I will never use them again. I would not recommend them to anyone. I paid top dollar because I thought I was getting the best materials installed by the best contractor in a timely manner with professionalism and quality customer service. I did receive the top quality materials I paid for, but not much else. The estimate said the project would be completed in 6-10 weeks. They didn?t even start until after that window had passed. The salesman told us for a house our size it should take two days. One day to take off the old roof and one to put on the new one. After six days of work they discovered that they had not ordered enough materials. This led to the construction phase being eight days of labor over more than three weeks total. Throughout this process I was never contacted by the company to explain what was going on. Only after I called them would they explain the situation. I had to call them to see why they hadn?t started on time, to find out why construction just abruptly stopped, and when they thought it would be completed. The real frustration didn't start until after the roof was installed. Weeks after the installation crew had left still no one had shown up to do the final inspection. Only after the roof leaked and I called them did someone come out to inspect the roof. They inspected the roof, but I don't know if they repaired anything. A week later the roof leaked again in the same spot but significantly worse. It also leaked in a new second spot. After the second leak a crew of four people, Mangers, a Forman, and a drywall guy came out to inspect the situation. They inspected the roof and found several other small things that needed done. A repair was made that day to the leaks and the drywall guy started his first day of repairs to the ceiling. I was told a crew would be there the next morning to fix the other small issues. That crew did not show up for another four days. About a week after their visit I called to tell them that the water stains were still visible on the ceiling. They sent the drywall guy out again and he did do a great job with the repair. It was also during the visit with the four gentlemen that I was asked to sign the letter to the finance company stating that the work had been completed so that they could get paid. I told them I wanted to wait until it was actually done. They offered to write a letter stating that some minor repairs were still pending and that they would complete them. I told them I still wanted to wait. After the drywall repair was complete I signed the letter. About a week later it leaked again. They came out and repaired the roof again. It has now been around two months and the roof hasn?t leaked since. I do feel at this point the roof is water tight. I first want to say that a few of their employees are very nice and helpful. That was not the case with about half of the ones I spoke to. Some started out nice but eventually treated me like an inconvenience as I kept calling to report new leaks. One I found to be very condescending when I asked questions about the leaks and some concerns I had about how the roof had been installed. These are the worst of the issues we had. There were many more minor ones that I do not have room here to list. Bottom line is that in June I paid to have a top of the line metal roof installed correctly over a two day period to be completed by the first week of September. They didn't start till the middle of September. It took eight days over three weeks to install. It was almost the middle of November before the last of the three rounds of leaks was repaired. And, through all of this I was made to feel like a bother. I was offered no discount, no written apology, or any other gesture of good will. I still need to replace roof on my detached garage and was originally planning on using them for that project to. I will not be using them for that...

Had extreme problems communicating with workers. We speak and understand English, they did not. Had serious problem with them leaving gates open and our dogs getting out of the yard through the last day they were here

I was really pleased with the great job that Coastal Carolina Roofing did on my roof. They got here early and went to work right away. They only stopped for a Lunch Break and ended up finishing my roof about 4:00 the same day. They did an excellent job and it looks very good. Thank you Coastal Carolina Roofing Experts, Inc.

Highly Impressed with Paul and his team at Coastal Carolina Roofing Experts. He really looks out for the military community, which is very important to me. My rental property is ~300 miles away and sustained damage during the last hurricane. Needless to say, I was STRESSING about finding a reputable business to take of my property since I'm out-of-state and I'm moving back to this home one day. I chose this company based on Google reviews and then BBB reviews. I was not disappointed. The whole experience has been nothing short of professional and expedient. The electronic presentation was really impressive because it layed out exactly what I was getting. I never felt like a "customer", even before receiving a "welcome to the family letter". Yes, an actual letter. My initial questions were addressed the same day. Paul was very transparent and REACHABLE. Took the time to explain the insurance process and ensure I understood the bottom line (down to the cents) so there were no surprises. :-) No pressure at all. Not once did I have to ask for a status and some emails from the company were sent after business hours. Talk about customer service! Before I knew it, the work was complete and I received pictures of my property. Looks like a brand new house. I'm so relieved.

Professional service, quality work, and great communication throughout the project from Scott, the foreman. I had a rather complicated roof project with 3 dormers and several different roof pitches. My roof looks great and I couldn't be happier.

The actual contractors who did the job were very quick and professional. Communication in general was very inconsistent

Job was done very quick, they told me it would be 7 to 10 days after I hired them,the crew arrived on day 7 and completed the job by afternoon .... incredible crew!

COASTAL CAROLINA put a $25,000 roof on my house Jan 8, 2019, after installation we were told the shingles were discolored and would need to be replaced (there were also some minor damages to our property). Well in mid January we get a call saying that we needed to let the roof go through a 3-month weathering period to see if the color would blend... WELL I DO NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU GUYS, BUT I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF A BRAND NEW $25,000 ROOF NEEDING TO GO THROUGH A WEATHERING PROCESS, anyway to make along story short the 90 days were up on APRIL 8TH and and to this day June 3, 2019, our roof still has not been replaced because two other companies and Coastal Carolina have been arguing over who is going to replace the shingles. But get this the company dropped the ball and did not get ALL of the scheduled payments, this was not our fault, the project manager was not in place to get the payments, but informed us that he trusted us explicitly. They only got $7,500 up front...around the end of April after going back and forth since January, we got an intimidating phone call (I have the recording) from the owner Joe Bullington telling us he wanted his money, also letting us know that they were a Billion dollar company and basically that we did not want to mess with him. He literally threatened to put a lean on our home, if we did not pay him... We explained to him that we most definitely have his money and when the new materials are delivered we will go back to the regular schedule of payments. On May 2, I thought OK this is finally going to be over...we had a conference call with the owner J. Bullington and the project manager Mr. Toler (who by the way has since left the company and has agree to help us in any way he can) and the guy who replaced him, the agreement was all is well and they were coming by on the following Thursday, May 9th to pick up a second installment check and the materials would be delivered shortly thereafter. Well sure enough on May 9th they came and got another check for $7,500... BUT AS OF TODAY JUNE 3RD, WE HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM. I have called every day since May 10 and every person that I have spoken with claims that Mr. Bullington is either out of town or out in the field. I have been promised that I would get a call by end of business day for over two weeks now! UPDATE: Left 1 hour after left this review the president called with unrelieved attitude.

This company will not return your phone calls or answer your emails concerning an ongoing project. The project is in its ninth month and still no results.

Complete replacement of a roof on a 2400 sq. ft. single story house - done in a day. (It's 2 days later, raining like The Flood, and I feel snug as a bug in a rug.) Reasonable price, good shingles, knowledgeable workers.

Prompt each day. Worked hard and did a nice job with my full proof replacement. Cleaned up my yard real well. I recommend them highly.

This company had some issues with communication. They were overwhelmed by size of need, lost workers to other companies, and didn’t communicate status with people who had hired them. Once started they did a great job and their crews and staff were professional getting job done. They wanted us to jump when they finally finished, not understanding that we are not full time residents.
