The whole process went as smooth as it can be. Everything was explained on the phone clearly, an appointment time was set with instructions on how long to expect the job to be done and how it will take for the seal to dry. They came to our house and did the job exactly as I was told on the phone and I could not tell afterward that the windshield is a replacement. The price is also very reasonable.

In an industry that appears, at least in this area, to be full of providers who can't arrive on time, don't call, expect their customers to bend their own business / time to the needs of the provider, Tandem Glass are a very welcome relief.  Dealing with my insurance company and the 'glass repair' crowd was so frustrating that I ultimately opted to replace the windscreen instead of simply having the 'star' filled.
Tandem provided a firm quote by phone, arrived on time, did the job in about 40 minutes and accepted credit card payment.  They were, at all times, punctual, professional & courteous.  
Most importantly, they did a great job!  Highly recommended!

I received a call when they were in route and another when they arrived at my office, which was exactly on-time based on what I scheduled with the office staff. Andy Olson the owner and helper removed the windshield and explained the process. They did an excellent job and I really recommend Tandem Glass for anyone needing a windshield. I have never seen a bead of caulking put on the entire job without stopping before, they are professionals no doubt. The new windshield looks better the old cracked one as it has visor shading which the old one did not have. They don't advertise and work off word of mouth advertising which keeps them busy. My mechanic recommended Tandem Glass personally. They are a small business and the money you spend stays here in Charlotte.

Andy Olson the owner of Tandem actually did the work himself. He did a phenomenal job and explained the whole process as he was doing it in my driveway. Yes, he came out to my house. It was MUCH less expensive than those major companies that your car insurance tries to force you to go with. A year later and my car is great.
Now, I have had to consult him for my wife's Honda Pilot. His phone receptionist is incredibly nice and friendly. Andy has other employees but I asked for him personally and she said no problem.
Andy was referred to me by Roy Alexander of Superglass Windshield Repair 704-875-0004. Roy had fixed a crack in my wife's car but now we have one in another location that spread so we have to replace the windshield. Both Roy and Andy are fantastic. It really feels good to support the small businessmen too, they are who really keep our country going.
Highly recommend Tandem for windshield replacement and Superglass for minor crack repair. They are two guys that care about the quality of their work and the customer.

Andy Olson did a fantastic job in replacing the cracked windshield in my Mini Cooper. He found a cheaper solution for me in terms of the windshield rather than the BMW labeled glass that saved me a ton of money. It looks EXACTLY the same with the exception of BMW logo. I watched the whole process just out of intellectual curiousty as I had never seen a windshield replaced. He took his time and was extremely detail oriented in everything that he does. He guarrantees all of his work.

I have no doubt that should I ever need a windshield replaced, I will contact Andy Olson of Tandem Glass. He may not have the lowest price, I'm not sure, but I am confident that he does the finest work.
