Frank Alexander was very responsive, answering my questions and providing quotes and recommendations for different system options. Once I made my final decision, I dropped off a check for the downpayment Wednesday morning, and his guys were at my house first thing Thursday morning starting the work. Everyone was very courteous and professional through the whole process. (They even send an email with the name and photo of each tech before they arrived.) They sent all the rebate and registration paperwork via email, and Frank even offered to help me with Duke/Progress rebate applications. I would definitely use them again.

I will explain about this company overall. Last year my heat pump was giving me some issues and I called one of the more advertised HVAC companies to come out for repair. When the technician showed up about 5 minutes later in comes the sales rep. They looked at it for 10 minutes and promptly told me it was time to replace the unit. Ummm, no. Just felt sleezy.

So, I am commenting with a friend and he says I need to call Frank Alexander. He gave me his contact information and Frank came on out. Within 10 minutes of diagnosing he already figured out the issue and was well on the way to fixing it. I asked him if the unit needed replacing, he commented and quot;it's just getting broke inand quot;. What a relief!!!

The folks here are exceptionally kind and professional. This will always be the company I use for HVAC repairs and I recommend them to anyone who ever asks.

Frank Alexander is one of the best HVAC service people we have ever used. Our upstairs unit had been limping along for a couple of years, and he knew that we didn't have the funds to replace it right now so he has come out every May or June and serviced each unit and added Freon to the upstairs unit.
Frank was on time, personable, professional, and quick. He tells us exactly what is needed and gives us a couple of options so we can pick what we can afford. We trust Frank's assessment of the situation every time and appreciate that he gives us more than one option so we can make the best decision for our situation.

Our HVAC unit stopped working because of a factory defect in the middle of a very hot summer. Frank Alexander and Co. were extremely flexible - they fit us into their busy schedule and had us up and running in no time. They worked with the manufacturer, and gave us a fair price. Their staff member was very knowledgeable and professional, and explained the problem to us well.
In addition, they have a great notification system where the customer automatically gets an email with the name and picture of the staff member when they are on their way, which is a very nice touch.
Would definitely recommend their services.

We called Alexander Heating and Air after having another company be a and quot;no showand quot; for an appointment we had set up the day prior. Alexander was at our house within 30 minutes and had our unit up and running within 15. Couldn't ask for faster, friendlier or more professional service!! Highly recommended!

I've used Alexander's a few times in the past which is the reason I purchased the annual service maintenance contract.  They always do great work, their prices are great and their work is top notch.  I've always been very satisfied and their response to an emergency was fantastic.  I feel confident that my A/C is ready for the heat of the summer.

I believe they came out basically next-day to check out the cause for this weird smell. The cause ended up being unrelated to the heating/air system, but we asked them to check out the units since they were there and our upstairs unit is fairly old. They did a thorough eval and we signed up for the maintenance plan so we'll get the units checked out twice a year. No repairs were needed, but they did mention one small part on the upstairs unit that would probably need replacing in the next year or so, but did not need fixing quite yet. The gentleman who came out was pleasant, punctual, and clearly knowledgeable. I'm glad to know they'll be checking on our systems twice a year and also know they'll be great help if we ever have an emergent situation!

• I had heard about this company from a friend who said only good things so when I wasn't getting any heat upstairs, I called. I spoke with Frank who was very nice and very professional. He assured me he would be at my home that day. He came, as promised and my biggest concern was that I would need a whole new upstairs heating/cooling unit. He went to check the unit and told me that all I would need was something simple which was a HUGE relief to me. I was bracing myself for the worst and I was thrilled with the good news. He could have easily taken advantage and told me anything. Honesty is so important and it's hard to find contractors you can trust. I'd recommend Alexander Heating and Air to anyone! Thanks again...
