The electronics in our home were effected by an extreme lightning storm. One of the items damaged was our 52" LED flat screen TV, but only the high definition inputs were inoperable. After researching Angie's List and the Better Business Bureau (BBB), I contacted Digital TV and Radio Inc. Unfortunately, I had to leave a message. Instead of waiting for a return of my call, I waited a couple of hours before I called again. I spoke with the owner and he scheduled an appointment for his Jacksonville technician, James Cox to come to our home. The technician, James Cox arrived on time and was very pleasant. He verified the damage from the lightning, identified the faulty part, and then he sent the estimation to our insurance company. Once the insurance company authorized the repair, Mr. Cox submitted the order for the part. When the part arrived, he came to our home that day and installed it. Unfortunately, the part was defective, even though it was brand new. Mr. Cox too immediate action to prevent any additional damage to our TV. He explained that he would have to re-order the part. He returned the original part to our TV until a replacement part was received. Within a few days, Mr. Cox received the second new part, he came out to our home that day to install it. This time, the new part was operational. Mr. Cox verified that everything was properly functioning on our TV. He explained that the Havelock office would send a receipt of my payment with the explanation of the repairs to my home. He also commented that I would need to submit that receipt and explanation to my insurance company. Mr. Cox was very professional, courteous, informative, and punctual. It was definitely worth $45 dollars to have him come to our home to perform the work required. We were able to contact him directly concerning our repairs. Mr. Cox also mentioned that future customers can contact him directly at (910) 545-4790 and payments would still be made to the Havelock office.
