The Vet made a house call to our residence to reduce the stress of Michi being put to sleep, very professional and sympathetic, the visit also didn't cost us as much as I expected either. We put him down and wrapped him in a blanket and buried him next to our Japanese cherry tree. HMAH did their best to accommodate and make the process as manageable as possible, they did great, A+ and would recommend to anyone who loves their pet and doesn't have deep pockets to pay for some of the other vets the Fay area has. We've been to 4 different vets over the last 16 years and we acknowledge they are by far the vet we prefer in the local area.

I had a big disagreement with Hope Mills Road Animal Hospital. This year, I was late by 3 months to get one my dog's Rabies shot, and because was I was late, they refused her a Rabies shot because I was late. That's crazy, I've never have been refused even if I was running late. So we ended up calling another vet and he told care of it and said I don't myself understand why they would refuse, because they are signed for Rabies. And Hope Mills Road Animal Hospital charged some $18 to trim the nails on another dog, and that dog only weighs 5 pounds, they were just extremely high on all services so we just asked to please get the dogs paperwork together so that we can pick it. up My husband went picked it up and they wanted to know why we were leaving, and he then said the prices were just astronomical. By the time I could take in my dog it was just little over $400, but when he took his dog it was just a $180 something. I mean if they thought that we are not coming in, that is close to half of what I got when I just come in. They can't just do that all the time. Hope Mills Road Animal Hospital charges $40 for a shot and my new Vet charges $14 for the same shot, now that's a big difference! I don't mind paying for a service but would definitely not repeat them at any cost!

They were helpful and they always let me know what I need to do; they just let me know what kind of shots my dog needed and they were very friendly.

I really like that Hope Mills Road Animal Hospital will price-match on many medications. With several dogs in our home heartworm and flea medications alone are are a big expense and if I find medications cheaper online all I do is print out the pricing information for the same medication(s) and they'll match prices.
I'm also very pleased that they've always taken an interest in my dogs' comfort and well-being while we're there for medical attention. Everyone from the receptionists to the doctors and techs always seem to give my dogs individual attention, making me (and my dogs, as well) feel important and at ease. Dr. Gray, especially, has a wonderful bedside manner, gently speaking to the pets and giving them lots of kind, physical contact. She also takes the time to answer any questions and addresses any concerns I may have fully and in layman's terms; I never feel as if my family is just another entry into their accounting ledger.
Yes, as a couple of other reviewers opined, I think they may be a little more expensive than some of the other practices in town but I chalk that up to the old addage, "You get what you pay for."
I am very comfortable in recommending Hope Mills Road Animal Hospital to anyone who's looking for compassionate, competent, professional care for their beloved pets.

Veterinarians, Animal Boarding Kennels
They are pretty good and I've not had any problems with them. We did boarding in January and we did boarding as well as vet service in December. Boarding is pretty reasonable; it was like twenty bucks for both cats which is pretty reasonable for this area. They did dental work on one of the cats so the vet bill was probably two hundred bucks, that was a little high but it included anesthesia and extra testing that we took. It's clean and they are very friendly. I like the way that the boarding is set up, it is a little bit better than some of the other clinics. Our cats were able to stay in the same cage and it was like an expanded cage. The staffs are friendly and they are very easy to work with. I've never had a problem with them. Since we've been here in October, we've probably been there four times. It's close to our house but it may be a little bit more expensive. I'd still go to them.

I have been using them for 20 years. I have several pets. I have dogs and they are all rescue. She is excellent in grooming. They have excellent boarding facilities. They are clean. It was expensive. The vets are very knowledgeable and clean. The boarding place there has no smell and it is clean. They are clean and I can tell they take pride in taking care of the animals.

I do rescue work too so I take all of those dogs there. They are so awesome. Dr. Gray is so patient and willing to work with you. If there is something wrong she knows we're not made of money and she explains options for treatment and everything that's going on. She loves the dogs, she always remembers them and what's going on with them from the last visit. I think that's very important, it's like when I go to the doctor. I have 6 dogs so I"m always in there.
