E Z Ed Home Appliance Service & Repair

I called because I though my dryer belt was broken.  The repairman called me back before coming over and over the phone told me what was wrong and gave me an estimate.  It was not going to be worth repairing, so I ended up buying a new dryer.  I was impressed that he was honest enough to do this over the phone instead of charging me for a service card he knew would be wasted.  I will use them in the future for actual repairs.

Ed was here in a few hours....very professional and explained everything in detail before repairing my washer.  He even took time to take a look at my dishwasher.  He is very honest man.  I will call him again for any repairs.

Ed showed on time and quickly assessed my issues. Replaced faulty part in my icemaker and only charged me for a service call. Consummate professional, absolutely the go to man for any appliance problems!

Consulted Angie's list, called E Z Ed. He called promptly and made an appt. for the next morning. Arrived on time and prepared. Needed to order a "mother board". Returned, on time with parts as promised--did a great job! He is prompt, prepared, knowledgeable, personable, and responsible. I don't fear major appliance troubles now that E Z Ed is on my speed dial! Thanks Angie's List and super huge thanks to E Z Ed.

Mr. Ed knew exactly what was wrong with my washer.  He made repairs, very knowledgeable, friendly.  I will definitely call upon him again with any it her appliance issue.

Assessment of washer

Checked out the issue. Told us he could fix it but it would cost us more to repair than buying a new one.

Ed did a phenomenal job.  Every good thing said about him on Angie's list is true.  He called to let me know he could come earlier than planned.  He told me and showed me what was wrong and then fixed it all in the same day.  I was extremely pleased with his expertise and professionalism.  He was honest with me regarding what I needed and gave me a great price.

As on other occasions when we have needed him, Ed impressed us with his knowledge and professionalism. We had the same problem with the control knob several years ago, and told him what we thought the problem was. He came exactly when he said he would, and had already bought the knob. He replaced the knob quickly.He checked our drain hose and gave us some tips on checking it for wear in the future. (He always gives some extra value for the money like this.) He only charged about half of his usual service fee because the repair was quick. In this day of service people who seem to know little and have to make several trips, Ed is refreshing. We hope he never decides to retire!

Ripped out the oven out of the wall and just told me it was fried. The guy was just honest. 

In addition, this technician offered "free of charge" an opportunity to answer questions about concerns I might have about other appliances. He also pleasantly honored the Angie's List coupon.

He called me and walked me through a few steps to diagnose the issue. He advised against the repair of my dryer due to the cost of parts vs a new dryer. There was no charge for his assistance. A+++

Leak was coming from under fridge and we suspected it was something to do with the filtered water dispenser since the leak stopped when water line was turned off. Ed had the problem figured out in about 20 minutes (I thought it was going to require major dismantling of the fridge, but that was not necessary).  Ed ordered the part and returned the next day to install at no additional charge (for the second house visit).  Final bill was very fair.  
Ed is one of the most courteous and professional people I have ever come across.  After I called him to request service, he researched the fridge and called me back with a few diagnostic questions before setting an appointment time. On the day of the appointment he called me when he was on his way to the house and arrived at the exact time he said he would. 
After finishing the repair he asked me if I had any concerns with any other appliances and offered to provide a complimentary diagnosis if necessary.
I will use EZ Ed exclusively for appliance repairs in the future and only wish other contractors provided service like his.  The world would be a much better better place if they did!

Awesome. Problem was fixed in visit

The repair was in a rental unit.  Ed was great to work with.  He scheduled with our tenant, arrived on time and made the repairs on time and in budget.  I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

The recommended repair worked perfectly.

He was very good. He was on time and very professional. His price was right. He gave me a good quality garbage disposal. He worked very fast. I didn't have any problems with the product. He did a little extra job and he didn't charge me extra; he did it for free. He knew what he was doing.

Fast, honest and fixed the problem on the first try.  Ed is my appliance guy from now on.

He was excellent.  I described what was wrong over the phone.  He knew what needed to be done.  He brought the appropriate part.  He was able to quickly come in, fix it and then be on his way.  His initial quote was higher than what I ended up paying.

. This gentleman is a true "GENTLEMAN". He came over and assessed the
problem and agreed with me that it was the timer on my dryer (by the
way, always ALWAYS turn your timer clockwise) and did not charge me for
the consultation. He was aware that I had troubleshot all of the other
possibilities of why it would not start. If you buy the timer at the
appliance repair and it is NOT the problem you are stuck with that part,
understandably so as it is broken easily if not operated correctly
(ALWAYS operate CLOCKWISE when setting dryer time/settings) The part
cost 98.00 dollars from Cashwell's Appliance (they rock!!) and I changed
the part out myself utilizing Youtube DIY videos.

My clothes washer quit working on a Sunday afternoon, we were really bummed out about it because we wash a lot of clothes throughout the week.  In the past I've had  lousy luck getting appliances repaired and was dreading having to call and try to find someone to repair my washer.  I used this as an excuse to sign up for Angie's List and was pleasantly surprised with the list of repair shops.  I called several shops and EZ Ed's sounded the best on the phone.  I left a message on Ed's voice mail and he called right back.  I described what was going on, he asked for the model number and set a time to stop by that same day.  It was cool that I was able to text the information to his phone, when he arrived he had the part he needed and fixed the washer in quick order.  He arrived on time and was very easy to work with.  I called several other shops and settled on Ed because I didn't feel like he was doing me a favor, he was interested in my business and treated me like a customer.  The pricing was reasonable and considering that he was able to repair it so quickly was actually a bargain.  Some of the other shops did call me back but it just didn't feel comfortable.  Thanks Ed, next time an applicable breaks, I'm calling you.
