Description of Work: The company did not reply to my Angie's list messages (x2). I ended up using a competitor from the phone book. I do not recommend this provider based on lack of response. This is the point of being on the service afterall.

Description of Work: ED was able to give me an estimate over the phone and explain what my costs/options would be and that I may be better off without the repair as it would cost more than a replacement. Super knowledgeable and just a nice person. very happy

Description of Work: I messaged him on the Angie list app and the guy told me how to fix my own dryer. It was pretty easy but wow. Definitely will recommend him to anyone just for being a good guy.

Description of Work: What a blessing it was today to deal with a honest repairman. He arrived prior to our scheduled appointment, was courteous and true to his word. Advised that our washer could not be repaired and explained everything to me so that I could understand. What a great guy!! Thanks Ed for your time and attention to detail!!

Description of Work: Ed quickly determined my dishwasher was not worth repairing and didn't charge me for the visit. Very polite and punctual.

Description of Work: we were having trouble with the washer. My wife called Mr. Edgerton and he tried to help over the phone. My wife did not understand what he was wanting and he said he would come out and check the washer in 15-20 minutes. He was very prompt on his time. He checked the washer and found that one of the water valves had been turned off. He then checked the washer to make sure it operated ok. H e would not accept any pay for the visit. He was very cordial and polite through the time. I would definately recommend him to our friends.

Description of Work: After calling 2 other places (they just had more reviews with an "A" rating. Ed was number 3 on my list, he received an "A" from Angies List, but didn't have as many reviews. I wish I had called Ed first and not wasted my time with the other 2. He made an appointment with me for 8 am the next day, but arrived 10 mins early and called to see if he could come that early! I said sure I was waiting for him. My daughters dryer hadn't worked for 2 weeks. Sears was supposed to come the day before but cancelled 1 hours before the appointment, which was 1-5! Ed checked all the electrics and temps and determined the vent from the apartment complex was plugged causing my daughters dryer to over heat. Ed spoke to the apartment maintenance folks and explained the situation (and actually helped them try to clear the vent). He said the money I paid for his time, could be applied to the dryer if the vent clearing didn't fix the problem within 90 days. He was very professional, prompt and intelligent and I felt safe with him. I told my daughter Ed was the person to call in the future for her applicance needs.
