Ed is just the kind of repairman we were looking for. He is honest, dependable and knowledgeable. We will absolutely call him again when we need an appliance repairman.

My first call to Ed asked me about the problem, what it was, when did it start etc., then apologized that his earliest appointment wasn't until the following week. He asked if I wanted to trouble shoot it on the phone to see if he could help but I declined since I am not at all repair savvy. I told him the following week would be fine since we had another resource for doing laundry. On the day of the appointment he called before he came, was prompt, very friendly and efficient. He had brought one part with him he thought might fix the problem I had explained on the phone. He replaced this part but it didn't fix the problem. I had had a part from a previous breakdown (this machine is only two years old) that was not used in the repair. He replaced that part and problem still not fixed. He trouble shooter for another hour and decided to try something else. He went and got the part and came back and tried that. He told me that this type of unit was indeed difficult to work on, he wasn't complaining just explaining, but said he wouldn't give up. After spending several hours that day he asked if he could come back the next day and in the man time he would take the schematics and study them at home and speak to his partner about possible causes. I asked what I owed him for the day and he said nothing. He hadn't fixed it yet. We scheduled a time and he came with a few new thoughts. He tried to replace the motor, checked all the electrical wiring, even found one wire and repaired it. I had done some research as well and he was very polite to look at what I had found, unfortunately none of it fit. He kept a very upbeat positive attitude, always kept me informed of what he was doing and how much each part would be, and removed and replaced my old parts when it was discovered not to be the problem. After our third appointment he finally told me he was stumped. He said sometimes you just couldn't find the cause and didn't know what else to try. Since it had broken down before (during warranty) at only six months old, he admitted it could just be that machine. He told me a couple other companies that worked on these type of machines in case I wanted to try again. He even asked that I call him if they figured out what the problem was so he could learn from the experience. I again asked him what I owed him and he told me nothing. I said I at least wanted to pay him a service fee after all the driving and he told me he didn't work that way. If he couldn't fix it he wouldn't charge me. I was overwhelmed but this mans work ethic, drive and determination. Although the problem was not solved I am confident that he did everything in his power to try. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a appliance repaired and will call him for any of my other appliances.

I called Mr. Ed on Monday and he was able to come out on Tuesday.  He was honest with his estimate and he even recommended who I could call (a department store) to see my options with them to fix my washer.  With him being a smaller company his price for parts and labor would be more.  With what it would cost to fix my machine I mine as well get a new washer.  I asked him for his recommendations on what type of machine and brand I should buy and he took the time to explain different washers to me so that I could get one to suit my needs.  He is a highly professional and knowledgeable person.  I will definitely call him again if I need any other appliances fixed.  Unfortunately, these days it's hard to trust and find honest hard working people who aren't out there to make money and provide bad service.  Choose Ed and you will be happy you did!!

Called  and he was able to make an appointment for the next day.  Arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, replaced the temperature selection switch.  Dryer working fine since.

He was very nice.He seemed fair in terms of pricing. He actually gave us tips on how to save our washer.

I really love his work and he’s got reasonable prices. He is a great guy I would call any time I have work needed for my appliances. Super polite, super friendly. I have used him several times to repair my washer, dryer, and stove. He mainly does appliance repairs though, not electrical.

"Ed" returned my call quickly. He got the brand and model number for my electric range over the phone, researched the possible problem, and came with a replacement part on the truck, thereby saving us the cost of another service call. He had to disconnect  the downdraft vent and slide the range out to get to the part. He worked quickly and had the oven repaired in less than an hour. Before he left, he gave us some maintenance tips on our dishwasher and clothes washer. We were very impressed with his professionalism, and will definitely call on him again when the need arises. His labor charges were reasonable.

I liked his service.  He didn't even have to come to the house but he talked to me over the phone.  He told me what to look for and it was one of the problems he told me about.  I used him the day I signed up for Angie's List.  It cost me nothing because he talked to me on the phone and told me what to look for.  He took time to talk to me and it wasn't like he was trying to hurry up and get me off the phone.

I pretty much said it all in the above paragraph. Great job, smart and personable technician, arrived right on time and problem resolved before noon, after calling him after 10 am!!!

Through no fault of his own, Mr. Ed had to make more than one trip to my residence. He did not charge extra for this. He informed me of the necessary steps to correct the problem with the icemaker, the washing machine, and the dryer. I was extremely satisfied with the repairs that he did, and his fee was very reasonable. In the future, I will definitely call Mr. Ed for my appliance repairs.

In both the repair of our ice maker and the daughter's dryer parts were necessary. Ed promptly obtained them and came back to complete the repairs. He cleaned up and made recommendations regarding operation and care of the appliances.
