We called Scott at the contact number listed here on Angie's List and left a message stating that we would like a quote for monthly yard maintenance. We are very interested in organic yard care. We waited several days and realized we never received a call back. We tried again, leaving another message. No call back again. I called a third time stating that we had received the company's info from Angie's List and that we had called several times with no return call, and asked that either myself or my husband be called. Scott called my husband's phone and left a message. He never tried me after not getting in touch with my husband. I asked my husband if we ever heard from Scott, and he said yes, he had finally received a call, but had yet to call back. He called back immediately, and, of course, had to leave a message. Scott did return that call shortly after, and said he was making his calendar for the following week. My husband asked that we be put on his calendar for later in the week, Wednesday through Friday time frame, and to let us know when he would be coming out. My husband works from home, so he is very flexible, and let Scott know that. We also told Scott that our neighbor was looking, too, and we would let her know when he was coming out so that he could speak with her as well. Never heard from Scott. Nothing. Very unprofessional.

We've had fantastic experiences with Pleasant Green Grass.  I had first used them to aerate the lawn and found them to have the best price for that individual service.  We had been looking for someone to provide annual care and preferred a company that took steps to be environmentally friendly.  Their pricing and treatment regimens are clearly delineated on their website.  Scott Walker has never taken more that 24 hours to respond to an email, and they have a convenient online system for paying invoices.  We're thrilled with how our lawn looks now and definitely can recommend Pleasant Green Grass.

I enjoyed using Pleasant Green Grass last spring/summer/fall for lawn treatment and they expanded their services to trimming and other yard work this year.  After seeing this change in a recent email newsletter from the owner, Scott, I inquired about trimming back large bushes/trees in my yard which provide a nice privacy screen but were getting quite large.  Scott set me up with an estimate within a few days where I was able to meet his staff at my house and describe what I wanted.  I thought I wanted them trimmed back about 30% (the maximum recommended on a plant at one time) but the staff person talked me through what I wanted and suggested trimming them off the top and shaping them along the bottom.  We agreed on a reasonable estimate and the work was able to be completed about 2 weeks later. They did such great work that I emailed Scott as soon as I saw their work (it was done while I was not home).  Not only did the trees look great, but they cleaned up everything in my lawn. Great work!

I found him on Angie’s List; he was very good.  He had 4 men working through the afternoon.  Everything was fine; they were very pleasant people.

They did a great job.  Our lawn looks better than ever.  They have been very responsive to any questions we had.  We could not be more satisfied.

I would hire them again.

It went real well.  They also gave me tips to follow in the maintenance & care of my lawn.  Even one of the technicians came out the next day to personal look at the progress of the work.  This is a great company

I set up regular compost tea sprays from this company this spring, and have enjoyed working with them. Scott is very helpful and responsive to my needs. He was able to do an estimate in 24 hours after I called, and I signed on with them for the season.
When my dog was getting a lot of ticks in May, I looked up their website and saw that have a garlic spray for ticks. I asked for this to be added to my program and Scott explained how it worked and was able to get me set up.  They come to my house and spray my yard (all natural, organic - doesn't hurt my dog) when I am at work which is helpful, and leave me an invoice.  Scott has sent email reminders when it was time for a second month of spray, and was very quick to respond when I needed to reschedule. All in all, I like working with this company, and my yard has fewer ticks as well as significantly fewer weeds this season than last summer. I also enjoy supporting a local small company who uses organic products. Thanks!

They use organic products on the lawn, which I like.  The service is prompt and we're very happy with the results.

The quote was for $369 for a year’s worth of lawn care.  They were friendly, communication was good, they seemed knowledgeable, and their price was good. I will use them in the future.

.  They put down a composite tea spray to enrich the soil. It is not real pesticide or artificial fertilizers. I highly recommend them. It is a very personal business.  They send out a new letter twice a year, in Fall and in Spring which gives you information on how to take care of your lawn.  It is very informative.  How to take care of the lawn, and about things which I never knew before. We have had our lawn sprayed before for misquotes and fleece and that worked very nicely.  It started with them in the Fall. It is a very personal service. You can call the owner and speak to him or e-mail or call with all your questions or concerns. They do a lot of outside work that is related to the lawn.  They put in garden bins. It is very reassuring to know that we are not poisoning the water, or damaging the environment or pesticide damage to plants, animals and children.  It is a much healthier way to live. Having their service I feel very healthy and clean.  I wish more people would think that way. It also gives a very strong value of mind. I am also a certified world life habitat through the National Wild Life Federation.  I have signed up for that.  It is a very wonderful service and they always e-mail you and you know when they will be coming and whatever they will be doing.  It is not like a big service coming and just doing stuff. It is very personal and healthy.   We have beautiful lawn and we never had a lawn before. We took care of the lawn ourselves and it ended up with dirt because we had some trees.  Though we trimmed the trees but we still did not have a lawn because we did not know how to take care of it.   I did not like the pesticides or the artificial fertilizers.  Now we have a 5000 sq ft lawn.  It is all green and makes the house look very nice. I have recommended them to many people to try this type of service as an alternative to pesticide.  I will continue to use this service in the future.

They are an organic lawn care company, so it takes a longer time to get the lawn healthy, we just needed something faster in order to sell our home.

I like everything about them. They send out very informative emails. They do seasonal work; they don’t come out monthly. They always show up when they say they are going to and do exactly what they say they are going to do. I would continue to use them in the future.

We have been really glad we went with Pleasant Green. We have been pleased with the service and with the people. Our lawn had been almost completely overrun by weeds and crabgrass and it is looking lush and lovely now. We still have some pockets of weeds but we also still have the springtime round of treatments to go - and with a small child, the peace of mind that all materials are organic! We did have to have them come back out to do part of the lawn they mistakenly didn't treat and they charged us to come back out, but on the other hand they also agreed to cut the lawn down for seeding at the last minute (for a small fee), which we didn't end up having time to do. I feel there have been some misunderstood communications between us but I believe it was most likely on our end. Plus we find it a great service that almost all our communication was over e-mail - which to some may be not be what they want and can sometimes lead to miscommunications, but for us (with two fulltime jobs and a small child) is SO helpful, so we can communicate when we are able. Once they have the option to pay over the phone by credit card they'll have the entire package!

They were able to get us on the schedule fairly quickly and they did what they said they would. We like the fact that they have products that don?t harm the environment. They responded quickly and we were happy. We would have appreciated it if they had given us more follow up on how we were supposed to treat the lawn once they left.

This is an organic lawn service so it is not your typical chemicals and that is why I chose them. We have a year contract with them. They will seed in the fall. It is a small operation and they are very personal. I asked them about roto-tilling and they said that I needed to find out exactly where my power and phone lines were. They send emails to let us know when they are coming.

Scott was punctual and responsive to questions via email.

Everyone has been very nice and organized. They are the only company who will come out to me and do organic lawn treatment. I feel that their prices are pretty reasonable.
