I recently had carpet installed and they did not remove my old carpet. Left it in the front yard in the rain. I was told that someone would pick it up. A week later I called again and was told that someone would pick it up. A week and a half later I was told that it smelled like pet urine and I would have to dispose of it myself. Now I have to find someone strong enough to drag the carpet out to the street for the city to pick up since the installers did not put it in an easy place for the city. It will take the city several weeks to collect all the pieces. This could have been avoided if they had put the carpet out front in the first place. But the lack of communication and the run around was unacceptable. I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED. It should be said upfront and the installers should tell people the truth. They can do better than that. I was planning on having hard wood put into 2 other spaces but will call someone else. Shame on you Home Depot. You really let me down on this one.

I went to The Home Depot on Mon 10/10 to get an idea on the cost of replacement windows. I met with Steve in windows & doors and he was informative and helpful. The in-store windows are builder's grade so he suggested windows with more substance. He set up an appointment for an in home appointment/estimate for the next morning. Claude arrived on time and was very informative and a pleasure to meet. He was clearly very experienced with window replacement and not giving a scripted sales pitch. I was impressed with his candor and approach. He was professional, timely and on the spot with follow-up. The windows themselves were a little expensive but do seem to be of better quality (particularly in the frame design).  I would feel very comfortable working with Claude but at this time replacement windows are just more than I want to spend on this project this year so I will be seeking sill repair/replacement instead.

The delivery service went great.  Purchasing online took some time because I did a lot of research and my budget was not very large. Once I made the decision, I was very pleased with the whole process.  Delivery was as promised, on the day that I choose.

They were pretty much on time. They were very friendly, but they were not very conscientious about keeping things clean. When they left they did not clean up very well, and they left some nails and other things I did not want my kid to get his hands on. There were also some cigarette buts left. I think it took them a long time to putting in the window gouaches.

I FOUND THEM TO BE TOTALLY FRUSTRATING. THEY WERE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. THE WORK THEY DID WAS OKAY BUT THEY DID NOT RETURN ANY OF MY PHONES CALLS. THERE WAS NO COMMUNICATION.
