I am the president of a property owner's association and they put a roof on one of our properties. We had some problems with the job but they totally bent over backwards to make everything right. They were basically aesthetic issues. Somehow they got the wrong roof color. It is a townhouse unit and all the roofs are supposed to match and somehow this one doesn't quite match. But they did everything they could do make it right. They cleaned up well and were neat. They just made a dumb error. We would have been perfectly satisfied if the color had been right. But they did everything they could and we were satisfied that they did their best to make it right. I don't want to make it sound too bad because they did go out of their way.

We are very pleased with the performance of this contractor! I was looking for a contractor to replace the roof covering on my retired parents' house. I live 160 miles away and needed someone who could communicate with me by telephone and e-mail to facilitate the process. This contractor provided excellent communication that eased my concern of being away from job site. Contractor was prompt and accommodating in performing estimate on short notice when I was at job site. I was able to arrange to be present for most of the work and enjoyed watching and learning from the pros. Contractor gave me approximate start and completion dates, subject to weather (we had snow the day before they started) and work already scheduled ahead of us. Contractor notified me personally in advance on the morning work was to be started. Since I was a three-hour drive away, the masonry repair and sealing work was already done to my satisfaction before I arrived. Old shingle removal began next morning, following tightly coordinated delivery of the dumpster arranged by contractor. Initial crew of three was supplemented by another four staff that day, after they completed job delayed previous day by wind. Contractor divided work into two logical blocks, one for each day, so that roof sections (a two-story and a one-story) were re-shingled before end of each day, and house was protected. Next day "pilot" crew arrived early to start shingle removal on second section, finishing just as additional crew arrived to install new shingles. I am impressed at the rate at which the crew was able to execute high quality work; they know what they are doing and are good at it. Entire crew was polite, helpful, willing to share information and answer questions, showed concern for convenience of client, and worked together as a team to meet projected schedule. All team members were concerned about thorough cleanup and did a nice job. Senior staff member on site spent considerable time patiently talking to me to answer my questions (mostly interest to educate myself) and contacted me at appropriate times when he needed input. Two crew members, including one who performed masonry and soffit repair, returned on day four for one last one-hour task on the roof plus final cleanup plus review of final invoice and to address any concerns I might have. (There were no unresolved concerns.) There were no surprises, and cost was as expected to the penny. Quality of work was far superior to that of roof that was replaced.
