The bathroom fan wasn't sized correctly for the bathroom and neither was the duct work. Gary explained that he could simply replace the fan, but it wouldn't fix the problem as the duct work was too small and not routed correctly. The work went very smoothly, he was flexible with scheduling and the job was completed within 2 days. The entire job was handled professionally - Gary is very personable and friendly.

Gary was available when we needed him on relatively short notice. He arrived on time on the date agreed, performed all tasks efficiently and was courteous to our resident. His report was thorough and concise, describing all tasks undertaken as well as task outcomes. I couldn't be more pleased with the services we received. We will definitely be calling on Gary again when we have need of handyman services in the area.

Gary and I worked with each other to coordinate our schedules. He came on a Saturday to do the work. He arrived on time and completed the work within the time frame he had anticipated. He did quality work. Prior to speaking to Gary, two other handymen had suggested replacing the door completely, which would have easily cost at least $500 to $700 more. He also provided sound advise for simple steps we could take to prevent water damage in the future. Gary was pleasant, helpful, and trustworthy. I will use his services in the future without hesitation.

He never got back in touch with me. Maybe the work was more than he could do but he never indicated that it was and was going to have someone contact me regarding kitchen cabinets.
He was recommended on Angie's list but my experience with him was not good.

I contacted Gary based on recommendations from Angie's List. Gary arrived the following day, reviewed the work to be completed, and provided an estimate via email a few days later. We scheduled the work to be completed around my availability, which was on the weekend. The night prior to starting the work, Gary contacted me and indicated that he had become ill and would not be able to begin the work.
Overall, Gary was punctual for the estimate, very cordial and respectful, and seemed to be very competent for the work. I appreciated receiving notification prior to the start time that he would be unable to work. I would consider contacting Gary to perform handyman services in the future.

Gary was pretty quick to come over to give an estimate. It took a few days before he could do the work -- I suspect he's probably swamped with business. The work looks great, and he was very good about working with me to find a convenient time to come over. The price was very reasonable, and I'm very satisfied with the work!

Gary came by to take a look at the porch and gave us an estimate through email. We set up a time for him to return to install the light. He was punctual both times and responsive. The price was reasonable. We would definitely use him again.

Contacted Gary on Wed 12/29 to come and give estimate. 12/30 Gary arrived on time, pulled some looked over the exposed damage and told me he would get back to me with an estimate. I received the estimate on Monday1/3 with a commitment to start work on Thursday 1/6 at 8:30am. Gary showed up, on time, identified the cause of the problem within an hour and the extent of the damage. Gary and his crew found additional damage after removing OSB and the bottom floor window, had to replace some studs and chemically clean the mold found. Completed mold clean up and went to replacing damaged OSB, installed window and reinstalled all the necessary J channels and siding. They made some additional repairs along the way to ensure that the water damage issue was completely resolved and completed the outside repairs that day, inside repairs completed in a few hours the following day. They were all very professional and courteous and surprisingly, the estimate came within 10% of the amount quoted with a top quality job done. They cleaned their work areas after all repairs were done. It should be noted that most homeowners have lived the home repair nightmares and promises made by companies to honor their commitment and perform what they say they will at a reasonable price. You will not experience this with Gary's services. I would highly recommend the use of Gary's services to anyone and have several projects around the house that he will be invited back for.

Awesome experience. I contacted Gary via email on a Sunday evening and he called me via phone the next morning. I explained what I wanted done and we arranged for him to come out and look at the various projects to give me an estimate for the projects. Since my budget is limited I am breaking up doing the projects over time but really needed to get the screen door repaired and rehung and also wanted to get the deadbolt lock replaced with a new one. We arranged for a time for Gary to come do the job. Didn't take very long at all. I am very pleased, will hire him again and definitely recommend him.

Gary did a phenomenal job. He was very punctual, efficient, respectful and professional. He even worked around my 2 year old's nap! The work is absolutely perfect. I couldn't be happier. To top it off, he is very reasonably priced. He charged 3X less than another Angie's List contractor that we got an estimate from and I can't imagine that they could have done a better job. I'm so glad we found Gary. We will definitely use him again.

It looks really nice. I was happy with the job that he did. He did the work while I was gone. He was very meticulous. The porch was not even previously. He did the work to make it appear that it was all even. He did it exactly the way I wanted him to.

The quote was provided in a timely manner and professional. He was very reasonable with his prices and explained exactly what it would take for him to do the work and the length of time to perform the job. We set a date. He showed up on the date we picked Dec. 27, 2007 and was on time. Gary is detailed and very conscientious about the work he performs. He cleaned up as he went. We are very happy with the work he performed. So happy we have asked him give us a quote on replacing more carpet with hardwood flooring and replacing the caulking in our walk-in shower and set area.

Although the repair was minor, everything went extremely well. Gary was informative and professional. He advised us that the boards had been installed improperly and advised us on the best sealer to use. It is obvious that he knows his business.
