had used sawyers for years. it changed hands. took boat for spring tune up as usual. needed lower unit lube change, oil change, and tilt trim motor replaced. work was done and i questioned the cost of the trim motor. was told that since it was a honda brand it was expensive. payed bill............. took to a different mechanic the next spring for lube and oil change. mechanic found a hole in lower unit that he said had been there for more than a year in his opinion. he said no way did sawyers change out that lube oil the previous year. payed bill took boat........this august the trim motor died. took to local mechanic last week. he asked me if i wanted the same AFTER MARKET trim moter that was on the boat or would i want a honda brand motor. ......... i payed sawyers close to 500.00 for a honda brand motor but a 100.00 after market motor was what was installed.  i have a new honda trim motor on order for 225.00. i can not recommend sawyers to anybody for anything
