The estimator arrived punctually and gathered all of his needed information. His interaction with me was both friendly and professional. I decided to go with another company because of the significant price difference in the estimates.

It went very well. I called for an estimate and they came out promptly and gave us one. Then the work was scheduled and they completed it as they said they would. They even suggested pointers on how to fix and repair possible shingles that might break off in the future. Very pleased with their service and will use again in the future if needed.

Adam came over and gave us the estimate. He said the entire flashing had to be removed and new flashing , sealer and shingles had to be installed around the chimney. After a few estimates we chose Scro's Roofing. Adam was curtious and very professional and did a great quality job. He even replaced some damaged wood at no extra charge. Now when it rains we don't have to get out the drip pans!I would definately use them again.

He was on Angie's List. He had an A rating. He came out and he was excellent. I didn't need a roof. One of the seals around the pipe had cracked and that's why I had a leak. He fixed it. It was $195. I was content and then he left. He was great. He came when he said he would and he left in an hour. I was happy. I've had no leaks so far and I'm just hoping that that's the case. If not, I will call him back. He was very nice.

they came, gave estimate, we liked what they said they'd do, the repairman accidentally damaged some of the trim on a replacement window but they allowed us to call the company who installed that window, and deduct the cost of the repair from their estimate. plus , they overestimated the original cost, but reduced it when they were done. really honest and fair people. if we have another job that needs doing, they will get the first call.

One of the main reasons we went with Scro's was that the owner, Don, stays on-site at all of their jobs. Materials were delivered to the house the day before the job started so when the crew arrived, they had everything they needed to get to work. They did a great job cleaning up after they were done for the day. In the end, our final bill was several hundred dollars less than the estimate. We were so happy with our project that we recommended Scro's to a friend - who also had a great experience with them.

If you want an excellent roof repair or replacement done by an honest, reputable company, Scro's Roofing is the company for you. Originally our insurance company only authorized replacement of half of our roof after damage caused by the April 16 tornado. Mr. Scro met with the adjustor and pointed out additional damage on the other half of our roof; the insurance company then authorized replacement of our entire roof less depreciation. Scro's pricing was competitive with other contractors. Their estimate outlines exactly what services will be provided with a list of all materials that will be used to complete the job. The crew is made up of American citizens . . . they are competent, courteous and work very hard to make sure nothing is damaged during shingle removal or replacement. Mr. Scro went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and satisfied with our new roof. The office personnel were very helpful emailing estimates, scheduling appointments and installation dates. We were very impressed with their dedication and professionalism.

First off that fact that they called and showed up early already put them 2 steps ahead in my book. Tthe price was fair and I'm very happy with the small amount of work they did for me. I plan to call them again when I'm in the market for a new roof.

The roof was damaged by the tornado and the insurance adjustor had already told me the roof need to be replaced. Scro's Roofing was referred to me by another Angie's List company that was unable to do the work. Scro's Roofing was one of the companies I called for an estimated. Their employee showed up and told me that roof could be repaired and gave me an estimated that was twice the amount of another company that told me the roof could be repaired. I asked for a estimated to replace the roof. The employee told me he didn't do that and he would have someone else from the company contact me and give me an estimate for a roof replacement. I felt like he was in a hurry to move on. As of this date, I have not heard from anyone from Scro's Roofing.

Technician was replacing a few shingles on my neighbor's roof. He agreed to replace a missing shingle on our rear roof and also inspected the rest of that roof. After loading his ladders and driving away, he noticed a missing shingle on our front roof. He came back, unloaded his ladders and replaced a missing shingle and did not charge us any additional fee. Very courteous and considerate. Outstanding service!

Communication was very good. When we decided to go with Scro's, Mary Scro gave us several addresses to check samples of their work and the colors we were considering. We did a tour on a Saturday afternoon, called back on Monday and the crew was out the following Monday. They finished early on Tuesday afternoon. For those wondering, the crew was all American workers. Very pleased overall with the work and process, would definitely recommend Scro's for anyone needing roof work.

Job could not have gone better. As promised, they arrived about 7:00 AM and had the old roof removed before 8:00 AM, and the new roof was on before noon. They really knew their jobs, and did it with pride. After noon, they cleaned up everything very well, and the next day, the owner stopped by, checked the work and scanned yard for any remaining nails. he then came in to make sure I was satisfied before submitting the bill. I could not ask for more.

Great! I needed a roof inspection ASAP for a home closing. They came and had the report to me in 1 day! It was exactly what I needed. They were professional and nice. I highly recommend.

Job went great. We were warned that they started early to minimize chance of getting caught in rain or blazing 100 F Heat, and they started before 7:00 AM and were completed by 2:00PM. All work was excellent, and we have seen nothing to complain about. No leaks, no defects. OWNER came by after job and checked work site to insure all work was done correctly. I have recommended company to several neighbors, and they have been all been happy with the work. I was a bit worried about the Christian Mission Statement because some companies use religious comments to hide poor work. However, this company was very good

We did not choose this company, the people selling the house to us (they paid for most of the new roof) picked this company and we were very happy with them. SHowed up when they said that they would, charged what they said that they would. They explained everything to us as they did it and Mary was very helpful as well.

We contacted multiple potential providers of roofing services and got quotes from four of them. This included a description of the approach and services the contractors would supply. After receiving proposals from each, we selected SCRO's Roofing. SCRO's prepared the necessary specifications, and ordered the custom built skylights. Upon arrival, they initiated the installation within one day and completed the job within 4 days. This was the best experience we have ever had with a building/repair contractor. They were friendly, helpful, punctual, and provided excellent craftsmanship. In this case there were no don'ts.

We recently purchased a home built in the late 80's that still had its original roof and were negotiating with the sellers to pay part. Our realtor suggested Scro's Roofing for an estimate, which was $4850, while the sellers had someone else do an estimate, $3600. If that seems like a big difference, it only looked that way on paper. Scro's used a heavier felt paper, better flashings, included the ridge vent in the price, and charged a third of the price for dimensional shingles compared to the other contractor. Scro's also had a discount from Angie's List, and charged less for plywood to repair the roof where there was seepage. All the costs were up front, including taxes. Adding up everything for the other company came out to about the same. We also got great advice on color for the shingles, a change that made the house look much nicer. On the day of the job, Scro's showed up early with a full screw that nearly finished the job in one day, which was also in keeping with their time estimate. They came back the next morning to finish the attached room and clean up. We are very, very pleased with their work.

He was just coming back from vacation and I had called him up and he ran by here right after vacation. Some of the flashing needed to be redone as it was an old flashing. He came back the very next day and brought everything he needed and took care of the problem immediately. He was awesome and was very responsive in getting back to me in a timely manner. He communicated well, was very professional and I never felt manipulated.

Worker showed up on time, made a winning estimate of $350 and immediately performed the work. I went out to check with him as he was finishing and was told that "the roof is shot...you need a new roof". He also said that the shingles around the roof vents were to brittle to work with, so he could not install new collars and just "tarred" the cracked areas. He reduced the price on the spot to $250 as a result of not doing originally agreed upon work. My complaint to the company was that I should have been immediately informed of the condition of my roof and given options. The company said that I could deduct the $250 I was out- of-pocket from their bid on a new roof. Their bid on a new roof turned out to be the highest of the 3 bids I got on re-roofing, so I am out $250.
