We are pleased with the work overall and it looks amazing. We live on a hill so most of the work was done some 14ft in the air. His workers were great to deal with they were happy to help and were able to answer all of our questions and concerns. He is a great guy and does an exceptional job with some smaller details you never think of. There are certain details we wished we would have discussed before hand. This is the year 2014-2015 and we would have never guessed that we would have to ask someone to screw down deck boards down but you will have to if you want screws. Ours are nailed down and we will have to go back and screw down the boards as many of them "Pop" when you walk on them. MAKE SURE YOU KEEP TRACK OF ADD ON ITEMS. Whyte does remember stuff very well but doesn't keep records very well so be sure to keep your records. If you contract says there will be deduct for anything make sure it has PRICE put in there so you know what the dollar value is. We did not care for his painter at all. Mind you we accept responsibility for picking the wrong color stain for the trim and for our cedar wall but someone should have called and informed us that this stuff didn't match instead of continuing to paint. They did not caulk around the doors or seams which was done later but not by a professional. We re-stained the cedar wall and trim on the deck(because we could reach it) with the correct color and the painter still charged us an additional $150 dollars to come back out and re-stain the trim only on gable and far side of the porch. We admit to our part but they could have done their part too. His electrician was rude and very unprofessional the first day he was working at our house. He acted like a two year old and would barely speak when spoken to and acted like we were bothering him. WILL NEVER USE HIM ON ANYTHING AT OUR HOUSE PERIOD! Again there are things you learn as you go and although his work passed code we would have preferred all wiring be put in PVC for a cleaner more professional look but again you learn as you go.

Rob was great to work with right from the beginning. He is very personable and worked with us throughout the process, even as we would change design ideas along the way. He is extremely honest and was able to provide several references in our neighborhood which we went and checked on his work before hiring him. We were impressed by all of the screened in porches he built. He takes pride in his work and it shows. Rob was always available whenever we had questions along the way and he always kept us informed as to what the next steps where in the project and how long he thought it was going to take. Ultimately the project finished on time and on budget (there are no surprise add on costs with Whyte Construction). We could not be more pleased with the work he and his crew performed and he really makes working with him a pleasure (which is priceless when someone is working in /or around your house). I would highly recommend Whyte Construction and we would definitely use them again.

I found them to be very pleasant in demeanor and ultimately gave us a reasonable price. In addition to having a positive rating on Angie's List, we also spoke with a neighbor how had a positive experience.

The shower does not look patched, a very professional job. I was very pleased.

I had used Rob previously to tile my bathroom and called him to do my kitchen. He really did a great job, and I couldnt be happier. Floor looks better than I could have imagine, the decorative pattern he suggusted really sets off the kitchen

Both projects went very well. Both the bathroom remodel and deck were done within our discussed time frame. His estimate was reasonable and he always communicated very well with me during the project. I would recommend him for anyone needing work done on their home
