Excellent. Town & Country did a great job of communicating price and timing for project. Their price was cheaper than some of their competitors and they were well aware of fencing requirements in Dilworth. It took about 3 full days to install the fence, and it looks great.

They were very nice and very professional. I would call them if I needed something. They showed up. They introduced themselves and showed identification. They showed eye contact and a hand shake. They had great protocol. We sat down and talked. We measured out what I wanted. Within five hours I had an estimate through email. I thanked them for that. I told them as a courtesy that I was getting other quotes and that the one with a better of the bang would get the job. They were just a little on the high side, but they were very competitive on the price. They did offer a $200 discount if I would've waited a little longer.

They were very prompt and pleasant from my first call until the project was complete. They provided excellent value for the price paid.

Very pleased with the initial quote process, evaluation of our property to provide us with options and a final quote, the installation was quick and the finished product looks great!

The fence is amazing! The design is exactly what we wanted and the team is very professional. I would use them for this type of work in the future and highly recommend their services.

Brian was great. He came out to take a look and give me a reasonable estimate. I got the work scheduled quickly. The installers were polite and courteous, working non-stop until they completed the work. Also had a few trees that needed trimming and Brian worked with his contact to have that done without delay.

Town & Country Fence is courteous and professional. Work was completed exactly as quoted and on time. We closed on a new house and were awaiting HOA approval for the design and location - Kenny and LuAnn were very flexible through the process and the crew began install the day immediately following HOA approval. We used T&C for the fence install at our previous home about 2 years ago and would recommend them anyone's future fencing needs.

Timeline: The project started with getting the HOA approval, and we had to change our fence's length a bit, and Town and Country Fence worked with us very quickly to update the quotes for the changed length. Once we received the approval, we signed the Agreement and made a deposit. Very quickly the project started and the fence was completed in one day. The following day they had the gate installed. The fence looks very good and is well installed. So I would say that they totally knew how to schedule around the HOA approval unknown date and did not leave you anxious about the start date and I feel it is very important in a project. Communications: Throughout the project the communication was very professional and positive. I enjoyed working with Town and Country Fence. Payment/Warranty: We were not able to use the Angie's List coupon as it is offered only on certain total length of the fence. They offer lifetime warranty on the type of fence we selected and one year on labor. They send you a one page warranty for the product and separately a warranty on the labor. Remember to save those. Payment terms: in our case there was a prepayment and immediate payment of balance upon work completion. The terms are included in the contract which you sign along with giving a deposit.

4 months have gone by, and they haven't addressed my concerns. So, I am thinking that they are on time when you are initially building and paying big bucks for a fence. But after that they leave you in the dust. Very disappointed.

I could not be happier with the transaction. We have three dogs that aren't used to walking on leashes. Town and Country gave us the best price hands down (others were quoting in excess of $3000+) and offered to begin the job within the week (and this is during the busiest time of year!). I pushed through everything through for HOA approval within a day and they WERE going to come out that same week. Unfortunately it was pouring the day that they initially scheduled (which was a Friday) but they came out first thing Monday to dig the holes and put up the posts. Then the next day, they came out around 11:30 am. By the time I got home around 6pm, they were FINISHED!!!! We were SO HAPPY that our puppies finally had a place to run and play instead of being stuck on leashes. Luann was professional, fun to talk to and very responsive. I thought that they were coming out early morning on Tuesday but they didn't arrive until 11:30. Honestly that wasn't a punctuality thing -- that was a miscommunication. They needed to make sure that they were still there when we got home from work so that we could pay them since we were paying in cash. I highly recommend T&C Fence to anyone looking for any kind of fence work to be done. Rest assured -- if we need anything done in the future, they'll be our first call.

Someone (can't recall the name of the gentleman) from T and C came out to give me a fence estimate for a split rail wood fence for my home. Actually, it is a home I am closing on in April, but because I have a dog, I did not want to wait until after closing to get the installation scheduled. By then it would have been at least a months wait for installation. The person who came out tried to sell me at LEAST 3 other types of fences. He didn't seem to want to sell me what I asked for and to top it off, I never got an estimate. The bright side of the experience is that he was on time and he did answer all of my questions.

They installed a split rail fence on my property for a dog area. They did a nice job. this was our second time using them. My review is more based on a problem that we only found out about over 1 year later. That is my story below. 2 month ago i had water running down my driveway when i got home from work on a Friday night. I called up York county water and they showed up and told me to have my plumber because it looks like a leak in our main water supply. He then shut the water off at the meter until i could get someone out, which wasn't till late Saturday. After looking for the leak for almost 30 min my plumber put his ear on a fence post and then had me do it, you could here the water running under the pole. Sure enough after digging up around the pole we found the leak. It was a repair that the fence company must have done after they hit my main line, I was never told anything about this. My plumber had to cut out the section the attempted to repair and fix it with the correct material. The repair they tried to cover up was beyond belief. My plumber comment saying a 5 year old could have done a better job. So after finding this i began to call Town and Country and see what they had to say. I was told the 1st time someone would get back to me. one week later called again, got the same response, next week called i was told they found my fence info but they said it was from 2013 i stated no that was the first job you did and that fence was Aluminum. I was told they would have to look into this further. guess what another couple weeks go by no answer. I finally called again, This is now 1 month since my initial call. I was told hang on a minute and a gentlemen got on the line with me. We talked for a few minutes i told him what we found and happened he then went into how this does happen and out of courtesy the will fix the line???? This floored me out of a courtesy! you hit the line why would you not be responsible to fix this and correctly. I was told they don't know plumbing and do the best they can.... WOW. so after all this is said i asked, i hope that you are not in a management position, because his tact on the phone was awful. He said know I am the OWNER. Now i am even more p***** off. I spend thousands of dollars with your company and you treat me like yesterdays news. He asked me what do i want from him. I answered with, what do you think you should do for me. No response. remember this is the OWNER I then mentioned boy cant wait to review you on Angies list, All of the sudden he starting asking for pictures and he would look into this for me... week goes by i get an E-mail stating that he talked to his guys that worked my job but he has no memory of my job and they could send out a crew to dig up my yard to make sure they didn't hit the line anywhere else, because my fence post looked to be following my main line. This was one of the things i mentioned during our conversation that i might have to do.He did ask what we paid our plumber also which i told him around $250.00.. I responded to his E-mail stating I don't want to dig my yard up just yet, that was the last contact. So i thought ah maybe they would be a good company and send me a check for the repair.. Nope nothing..I spent almost $10,000 with this company in the last 3 years and i tell them about a problem for which they don't think is there responsibility, which it is . A $250.00 repair. On top of all this i was going to have another whole section of my yard fenced. thank god this happened because guess who i wont be calling. The end of the story is simple the OWNER of town and country fence will take your money and do a good job for you. Just don't call them if you have a problem once they cashed your check. .

Our original installation of fence was in April 2015 and I had no complaints. The guys were patient when we had an issue with shrubs being in the way of installation. They rescheduled us in just a few days and finished the job to our satisfaction. My lower rating is because of what happened 2 months later. When my daughters dog pushed her way through one of the pickets, I called Town and Country to see if someone would come out and look at it and possibly fix it. After 4 days with no response I called again and was told that the owner was very busy and had only been in the office for an hour that day. ( I guess they already had OUR money?) I was told someone would get back to me before days end. 4 more days and my husband called again. He then received an email estimate for $285 to replace the section where (1) picket was bent. Later on that evening thinking that we couldn't do any more harm if we had to replace the section anyway; my husband bent the picket back into place! I am very disappointed that as a customer already, Town and Country couldn't be bothered helping us. They could have come out and looked at it and bent it back for us?! I had passed their name on to a neighbor but I won't do it again. These are the little things that I look for in a company.

We received 6 quotes from several different companies and I was not going to base my decision on just the lowest price, but by the quality customer service as well as price. I was very happy that each time I called Luann picked up the phone and was very helpful. Kenny was my salesman and he was great and came to my home when he said and answered all my questions. I am very happy with my fence. By the way...Town & Country's price was the best, but what made up my mind was also the customer service!

It didn't! The estimating process was fine. The representative that came to look at the job listened to my needs and seemed to represent them in his estimate. It was simply too much money for my tastes. I do not know how this estimate would stack up to comparable companies.

They were on time and provided a custom built gate since the our side yard is at an odd angle.

Brian was very professional and helpful. He recommended a clearing service to clean out the underbrush and made sure the fence and gates all looked and functioned the way we wanted. Luann in their office was very nice, helpful and responsive via email and over the phone. They kept us updated about the schedule and the inevitable weather delays. The crew was professional and cleaned up at the end of each day and made sure to let us know exactly what they were doing.

I used this company over 4? years ago, but just joined Angies List recently and felt this company deserved a review, even though its not a recent use. At the time they were priced well and great to work with. I was very happy with everything, and highly recommend checking them out. We had an aluminum fence put up around the yard, with 2 man gates and a driveway gate. Great products, great work.

I am very happy with my fence. They did a wonderful job with the install. They were prompt, courteous, cleaned up after the job was complete. I had to get HOA approval before the install and they were very cooperative with my having to change the date of install.

This past August, I contacted this company to get a quote on a fence in our backyard at our newly built house. Due to unforeseen delays, we needed to remain in our previous location, out of state, for an extended period and were unable to actually move in until late September. During this time, they continued to work with me on getting the local HOA approvals and permits needed to begin the work. Once we finally had all the paperwork approved, they were prompt in getting the fence installed quickly, and in accordance with the filed plans. They were always courteous, sympathetic to our unusual situation, and did a great job. I would recommend them to others (and actually have already!),
