ORIGINAL PROBLEM WAS BLACK (TOXIC) MOLD DUE TO A LEAK IN THE ROOF. THEY REFUSED TO REPAIR IT AND EVEN REFUSED THE MOLD INSPECTION SERVICE CLAIMING IT IS A
"RIP-OFF". THEY REFUSED IT DESPITE KNOWING THERE WAS A MOLD ISSUE, SMALL CHILDREN IN THE HOME AND A PREGNANT WIFE. THEY ATTEMPTED THEIR OWN SOLUTION, WHICH, AS IT TURNS OUT, WAS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AGAINST - IN FACT, SPREADING THE MOLD THROUGHOUT THE HOME. AT THIS POINT, MY FAMILY WAS SYMPTOMATIC FROM THE MOLD AND WE WERE ALSO WORRIED THAT OUR DAUGHTER'S HEARING WAS AFFECTED (SHE IS LEGALLY DEAF). DESPITE ALL OF THIS, THEY SMPLY REFUSED ANY TYPE OF REIMBURSEMENT FOR REPAIR SERVICES.
THIS WAS JUST THE BEGINNING OF A PROCESS THAT COST ME NEARLY $100,000 OF REPAIRS AS THEY REFUSED TO PAY FOR ANY OF THE COSTS. IN FACT, THEY CLAIMED THAT, HAD IT BEEN A FEW YEARS
THIS BEGAN A PROCESS IN WHICH WE OBTAINED AN ENGINEERING REPORT FOR ALL PROBLEMS WITH THE HOME. IN SHORT, THE REPORT IS 400 PAGES LONG AND THE RECOMMENDED REPAIRS ARE ESTIMATED AT NEARLY $300,000.
WE ALSO HAVE NEIGHBORS WHO "FIRED" THE SAME BUILDER (THOUGH THEY CLAIMED THEY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HOME - TURNS OUT THAT IS A LIE) AFTER THEY INSTALLED FIREPLACE BACKWARDS AMONG NUMEROUS OTHER ISSUES.
THEY ARE SNEAKY, UNRESPONSIVE AND HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH DISHONESTY. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAINST THIS BUILDER OR THEIR OTHER NAME (MEMARI BUILDERS).,
