The whole process of contacting, scheduling, obtaining an estimate, and getting the work accomplished was very easy. All of my questions were thoroughly answered and my general sense was that they are honest folks. Never did they try to sell services that we were not needed or would have provided an unfavorable ROI. Most importantly, I feel that the work was expertly done for a fair price based on the other quotes that I received.

It went great. We received and estimate and their professionalism and knowledge was quickly displayed. Every aspect of the job was well done from planning to execution and then follow-up and inspection to ensure we were satisfied with the level of service. We also replaced our HVAC system at the same time, which is also in the crawl space, with a separate company and Standard Insulation did a great job to ensure the teams worked together for proper sequencing and efficiency. I would definitely recommend them to others.

It went great, at least for me. The old insulation was something called "rockwool", which was rather difficult for them to remove. However, they were able to remove it. They put down plastic on the floor to protect the floors from the hose that was used to vacuum out the old insulation and blow in the new insulation. Very clean and considerate.

They recently insulated our crawl space. In the course of the job, they ran across an unexpected feature of the previous work that required more time. They scheduled the extra time and never mentioned an adjustment of the bid. The job site was perfectly clean when they left.

The cost amount of the job was significantly higher than the other 3 quotes we received, but we were confident they would do a great job and we feel that the extra cost is justified by peace of mind in an expert installation with no mess and trust in qualified employees. We feel the extra cost will be recouped in energy savings. Would recommend with no hesitation.

It went very well. The walls of the living area were covered with foil insulation from end to end and additional insulation was sprayed in roof area. The gentleman I worked with was very knowledgeable. Besides explaining everything to be done, he also gave some simple suggestion on blocking leaks around the the entry doors to the attic. The workmen were super nice and efficient. The impact of the work they did on the adjacent living area was remarkable and immediate. Very fair price. Should have done it years ago!

Several referrals were generated by the Duke Energy process. In order to qualify for the Duke rebate, proposals were given which involved replacing the insulation and represented a hefty cost. Marc from Standard Insulating explained some of the basics and upon inspection, said that much of the attic was still at the R30 level . The proposal was to top off with the same type of insulation so that the whole area would be at R30 or better. This would not qualify for a Duke Energy rebate but was the much better and least expensive solution.

Standard insulating was very professional from the consultation and quote, through the installation. They arrived on time, and completed the work in a swift manner performing all the work in an efficient manner. They protected my carpet effectively, and left no mess. My wife, who was at home during the installation, was very pleased.

I scheduled the appointment for the estimate and the man who came out explained the work that their company does. It explained why they use a radiant barrier instead of foam insulation very well. The work was scheduled and they showed up at the time expected and got to work. They were very professional and explained their process to me. They came into the house and made sure to protect the floors with plastic and cleaned up after they finished. Excellent work.

This company did an EXCELLENT job. The crew arrived on time; they were very courteous; and they did the job quickly with total cleanup. The crew actually found a small hidden area that was not previoulsy insulated and they CORRECTED the probloem. It doesn't get much better than that!
