We had a leak in our roof and called five different companies to give us quotes. Of the five, Greg at Southern Star was by far the most professional. He came out right away and sent me multiple photos of the leak, giving me a thorough explanation of how the leak likely occurred and the cost of repair. We ended up asking for a quote to re-shingle the entire roof, and the Southern Star quote also beat the other quotes. Greg went out of his way to call around and find matching log siding to repair our dormer along with the roof re-shingle. Just when we getting ready to schedule the repair, our well was struck by lightning, pushing the roof work out a whole month. During that time, Greg checked in on us weekly, never pushy, just making sure our well repair was going smoothly and following up with shingle colors and other details so that we could get the roof repaired as soon as the well was fixed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Southern Star- from Greg our point man to Alex in the office as well as the guys who did the work- outstanding company all around! We give them highest marks and will definitely use Southern Star again.

Southern Star Roofing did a roof tune up and removed an old dish from the previous owners. Didn't suggest a new roof just a tune up! The cost was very reasonable. All employees were very professional, prompt and courteous! Took pictures during the estimate and also took photos during the repair to show us what was completed. Thoughtful service!

Southern Star Roofing gets a "five star" from me because they are professional, on-time and the crew cleaned up nicely. Everyone that I had contact with from the signing of the contract through the installation, was knowledgeable and helpful. The process went well. Roof replacement took a little over a day. Gutters and covers was another day. Alex and Jonny were in constant contact. Overall communications was good. Recommended.

Greg Martinson came out to inspect my leak. He quickly discovered that that my roof was not the problem. He noticed that my roof drain was disconnected from the drainage pipe. He told me I needed a plumber not a roofer. I appreciate his honesty and highly recommend this company.

From beginning to end, Brandon and his team were very professional, courteous and dedicated to providing outstanding customer service. Brandon and his entire team have been amazing to work with. Filed an insurance claim months ago and having to play tug-a-war with an adjuster is not a fun game to play. Brandon assisted me through the whole process and fought for me. His team was prompt and completed the job in one day. Brandon even text me a before and after picture once the job was completed. would definitely recommend Southern Star! Brandon, Brenden and Alex were very professional and responsive and made the whole process very easy. They made sure to answer any and all of my questions thoroughly and in a timely fashion. The crew arrived on time and cleaned everything up before they left. They were able to replace all 3 roofs (main house, storage shed and warehouse) in less than 2 work days. The roof looks great and it couldn't have been any easier from start to finish! My experience with Southern Star was second to NO one! The process for having my roof replaced honestly felt like I didn't have to do a thing. From the original call to Brandon and the high quality of professionalism in our conversation I knew I have chosen the right company to do the work. I am a VERY particular person about work being done to my home. When the crew showed up that morning, it was very professional and was very impressed how well they work together. Yes they were there to do a job, but at the same time they had fun with it. A happy crew is a valuable crew and makes for a quality job in my opinion. Anyone unsure about hiring a company to replace a roof, or, new roof I would highly recommend Southern Star. As for the appearance after they completed the job I want to share this. I came home 3 days later to a woman in my driveway that mistook the Southern Star sign in the front yard for a For Sale sign and wanted to buy my home because she said it was beautiful.

We had a great experience with Southern Roofing. They came recommended by a coworker and so glad we used them. They were very professional during the entire process, and the project manager personally came to talk to us the day after we called, to review our damage and roof for an estimate. We had damage to our roof and after contacting many contractors and roofing experts Southern Star was simply the best to use. Alex in their office was in constant contact on the best date to do the work, when they would arrive and what to expect. Their crew was right on time, you knew they were there and still invisible as it were. The final result was better then hoped and the best thing was unlike others out there they did not need their hands held. They showed up, got the job done, cleaned up and got out. Best experience you could ask for.

Southern Star did an absolutely fantastic job fixing my roof & gutters. They were very prompt in originally coming out to look at the damage and providing an estimate. Hunter was very informative in letting me know what caused the problem and how they were going to be fixed. Then they were able to fix all the problems right away without there being any further damage. I'd highly recommend them for many reasons. Fantastic service from every representative I spoke with, quality of the work done to complete the job in a very timely manner, and of course it helped that they kept the pricing down. High recommend!

Everything was first class from the beginning. I sought three bids. One never responded which left two. Each company sent representatives. Prices were, honestly, in the same ballpark. Southern Star's professionalism just stood out. I pretty much knew who I was going with as soon as their Rep left. I completed the second interview anyway. Shingles are shingles and gutter is gutter but their leaf guard was FAR superior to the second bidder. I would say their outstanding Rep and Superior leaf guard closed the deal. They performed the work in a timely manner and to our complete satisfaction. I Highly recommend them.
