Went OK !!!!!!!!!!

We were very impressed with the entire process. They were one of four companies that came out and gave us an estimate. They were among the most affordable and seemed very professional and knowledgeable. Once we signed the contract, they came at with a crew of 5 painters the next week. The crew did a great job and didn't make a mess or splatter paint anywhere. Very good experience!

We contacted a couple of contractors for estimates.  Paintline Painting came in just under the other contractor so we hired Paintline.  The contract stated that they would replace rotten wood and paint bare wood with primer, sand rough spots and peeling paint and caulk before painting.  Replace rotten piece of siding. 







They started while we were on vacation June 27th.  The following Saturday when we returned home I went to the house that they were painting to see what had been done.  From a distance it looked great, but a closer inspection found window panes with peeling paint painted over.  Several other issues.  Joshua emailed to let me know the job was complete and hoped it was to my satisfaction.  He wanted to know when I could meet with his foreman to do a walk through.  I emailed back about the issues I had, so between scheduled to meet after several days of constant raining.  I talked to the foreman showed him my issues and a few minutes later

 Joshua calls because the foreman called with what I had showed him.  Joshua wasn't too happy and told me that it was an old house and it wasn't going to be perfect.  House built in 1972.  I asked him about the siding, that I hadn't had a chance to get on the roof because of the weather to inspect it.  He told me it was repaired.  I asked did they use a whole piece of siding or just cut out and repair the rotten part.  He said they just repaired the rotten part.  I questioned why, because they have to get a whole piece of siding and why did they not use the whole piece.  Which he didn't answer.  Joshua arranged for Kyle to meet with me the next week to do a walk through.  I had to leave and go back to work.  I came back later and the only thing that was done was unstick the windows and sand the window panes a little.  They finished painting the front door, because it was originally painted while closed and the ends weren't painted. 







The next day (Saturday), my husband and I were working on the house and I got the ladder and got on the roof.  I was shocked to see the siding had not been replaced and the rotten siding had been painted over.  I video taped this and took pictures.







When I met with Kyle, I explained that I did not like being lied to and that the trust I had with their company was gone.  I showed him the video and then we walked around to discuss what needed to be done.  I told them that I couldn't trust them to do the work unless one of us were there and that I was planning to take a couple of days off to work on the house.







Monday July 15th, the foreman was there when I got there.  He showed me he had the siding and he was going to fix it.  Periodically I would step out of the house to check on his progress.  When he had the siding up I walked out and he was painting the bare wood siding with house paint.  I stopped him and ask why he wasn't painting primer on the wood first.  He said "No worry, paint will work.  If you have problem, you call and I will come fix it".  I called my husband.  My husband said that wood siding that didn't have a manufactured primer on it had to be primed front and back.  He called Joshua and left a message.  A little later, Jose came to the door and said come see, I put primer on it.  He had painted the primer around the gutter spout on top of the paint.  I told him it needed to be primed on the whole board including where the gutter spout is.  He removed the spout and primed it.  I asked if he had to come back to allow for it to dry.  He didn't answer.  Later he came and got me and said he was done to come look.  He had painted over the primer.  I asked don't you have to allow it time to dry and he said no, it's fast drying.







Originally I had a gut feeling to go with the 1st contractor that gave me an estimate.  It wasn't that much more than paintline, but I thought I could save a little.  It was not worth the savings and next time I will do more homework and then go with my feelings.

This is our first house so this was our first experience with exterior paint. We had three companies quote the job and Paintline was by far the cheapest. Josh and his crew were very responsive and on time from start to finish. The house paint time would have been less, but we lost a day due to rain. I appreciated them taking the extra time to make sure the job was done right.
The crew was very polite, clean, and on time. They picked up everything at the end of each day & did not leave trash around. My only ding would be the way they replaced the wood trim. Instead of replacing the entire 20 ft piece of trim they cut the rotted section out and replaced it. But the quality of their paint-work more than makes up for this!
Whether they sprayed or hand painted  the coverage was excellent...they put two coats of paint on the trim (and quoted one) and didn't tape off a single window! Also, there was little or no overspray on the deck or roof! My wife and I were so impressed with the quality of their work, we decided to have them paint the garage door too.
Bottom line is, the house looks great! We could not have been more pleased and would highly recommend using Paintline!

The experiece was excellent from the estimate to the completion of the job. Kyle and the crew were very professional, quiet on the job site and left no mess behind. They cleaned up everyday and after completion like they said they would. We where very impressed by the prep work and both the painting and carpentry skills. We have already recommended them to our friends and family.

They were on time for the estimate and gave a professional detailed estimate. We hired them to paint because the price was affordable and they had great references. They finished the project on time and did an excellent job.

Joshua and his crew gave excellent service. I had taken several quotes on painting and replacing bad wood. I had a lot of damage wood on my house. I went with Paintline Painting because Joshua capture all of the damage up front and I feel gave me a good price. The guys that did the work were the best. They were very nice and worked hard. One guy found a dollar in my driveway while pressure washing and brought to me. That is saying a lot about the character of this team. I would recommend them anyone.

Was contacted by Josh within 24 hours of sending out an inquiry on the weekend. Gave me a great estimate. Crew showed up on time, finished on time and did an awesome job.

The estimate that Josh provided us was very detailed and very professional. We were referred to them by a friend so we gave them the job on the spot. They did an amazing job from start to finish. I highly recommend Paintline!
