After attempting to unsubscribe using the link in his emails, and continuing to receive his unwanted emails, I finally emailed him back directly, asking him to remove my data from his email marketing. He wrote back suggesting I use the link (which clearly I had explained hadn't done the trick). The next time I received another promotional email from him, I wrote again, asking him to stop sending me emails. His response was "If you can’t understand my instructions just hit the delete key if you ever see another email from me. I used it to delete you from my system so hopefully you will not need to email me anymore." Completely unprofessional individual.
