About us
Freespace Design is one of Charlotte’s most recent additions to the growing demand for cool, European style, contemporary design to both Residential and Commercial clients. Offering a full range of services throughout the Charlotte and surrounding areas for over 5 years, the design firm has worked in many different areas of design covering a diverse range of projects that include a 28,000sq ft residence on the coast, a new regional airport and an Art Deco Theater renovation. As sustainability becomes an increasingly vital component in bringing harmony between lifestyle and the environment it is intrinsic to any design process, and every opportunity is taken to balance the needs of the client with the mutual desire to work towards eco-friendly design solutions. Recycling and reuse of materials is a feature of many of our interior schemes, in both residential and commercial applications. With a European sensibility, bold use of color is a very important element in any design. Color consultation, selection and how to use color, researched and tailored to each individual project is a specialty. Freespace also offers insight and access to the world of fine art and is working towards the interface between community and the numerous local arts and craft practitioners. Design Fees: Freespace Design will work on a fixed fee and/or hourly rate. There is an initial fee of $150 for a 1 hour consultancy which which is deductible from the final fee should you wish to hire our services.
