Frady Tree Care

Description of Work: I bought an Angie's list deal for $200 for $400 work. I had them quote taking down some trees in the wooded area behind our house and limbing up trees in our front yard and garden area. Their quote seemed high to me, so I contacted another Angie's list tree service. They gave me a cheaper price, so I had them take down the trees. I had Frady do the limbing work in order to use the deal I had already purchased. They did an excellent job. They also took down a small dead tree while they were on the job. I would certainly use them again even though their original price was about 20% more than the company that I had take down the trees. The quality of their work and their professionalism was great.

Description of Work: I've been asked to review this company and I honestly cannot because they did not show up for the estimate nor call me in advance to tell me that they wouldn't be there. I waited a couple hours before carrying on with my day. I did get a message the following week but it was cut off so I don't know why they didn't show. I would have preferred to rate them an "N/A" but Angie's List won't allow that. I couldn't rate them a "C" because a no show does not qualify as "Fair" service. Therefore, I settled on a "D" because it is "Bad" to stand up anyone - let alone a potential customer - up! That said, if more effort were put into actually getting hold of me, it would probably have warranted a different rating outcome. A contrasting experience was Ken's Tree Service. I didn't realize they were located in Winston-Salem when I called. My focus was on their rating. Still, Ken himself came out to Greensboro and even called me about running late. He was only 5 minutes late but took the time to make contact. He was knowledgeable, helpful and listened to what I needed. Very accommodating. If we can work out scheduling, I will absolutely hire them.

Description of Work: Frady Tree Service was an excellent company to work with. They came in and took down the trees that I requested, made suggestions on other trees that needed attention, and ground several stumps. They were quick and cleaned the site better than expected! I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: They cleared out limbs from an old oak that interferred with our sat. reception. Area was cleaned and the job was done quickly and professionnally. Highly recommended
