Description of Work: Cut down 2 trees in front yard the work was delayed because of ice storm but more than one month. When they arrived they were professional, prompt, safe & courteous. The crew cleaned up after themselves & stump grinder (contractor) came when scheduled did a good job

Description of Work: Purchased Angie's List Big Deal with Frady and worked with Stewart Roberts on estimating our yard work. Mr. Roberts was professional, personable, and very knowledgeable about tree and lawn services. The work crew arrived on time as scheduled and did the work requested completely and to a high quality. They trimmed small and large trees, removed 3 very large bushes and grinded the stumps plus a few other small ones in our yard. The clean up was complete and very well done. I would highly recommend Frady Tree Care for these types of yard/lawn services.

Description of Work: After several phone calls in November & December 2012 we meet with Frady Tree Care on Jan 3rd, 2013. We went over what we wanted to get done, take down a large tree, stump removal, trim up a smaller tree in the front yard and move a small tree located by the mail box to the back yard. Est. cost was $2,000 minus $400 coupon for a balance of $1,600. Stewart also said they were running 2 to 3 months behind on jobs because of the bad weather here in Charlotte. We told him that was not a problem. After not hearing from anyone I called on July 11th talked to Kelly, he claimed our job had been put in the hold file by mistake. He said it would be 2-3 weeks before they could do the job. Taking him at his word I had Mecklenburg county come out on July 18th, 2013 an mark where the phone, gas, cable and power lines were located. As of today Aug 20th I called Frady Tree Care to request my money back, Kelly said to contact Angle's List. I have used Big Deals in the past an I have never had this kind of service from any of them.

Description of Work: Took along time for response/job completion. Did not give me long enough due notice to be on property at time of service. Although not unusual, used this promotion to try to expand services that I was not very interested in.

Description of Work: I had a couple of trees trimmed and payed for a tree to be planted in the fall/winter. I think that occurred in May, 2012. I wrote one review, and received a response that the planting would occur in the winter, which made perfect sense to me. I sent an e-mail in ?February? asking about the tree, no response. Since it is so late, I prefer to either have a refund or use the balance toward severe tree trimming. Initially I was pleased with the work. Not so much now, since I have had no response, no tree, and am out money.

Description of Work: The people were here cut the tree down(very nice people). Haul everything away, raked and blew all the remnants away. I have to say it was a great job. Later, about 10 minutes, another team came to get rid of the stump. Great job, friendly and perfect. I do recommend them and I will use them again and again. I grade them an A+

Description of Work: Scheduling was a bit difficult. I contacted them to schedule an appt and they just kind of showed up since they had a job up the street. I realize that it is more economical for them to work multiple jobs in the same area, I would have just like a little warning. I work from home and I would probably have scheduled being at the office while they were working on the tree. They were courteous and they did a very effecient job of cleaning up my tree. Yes I would use them again.

Description of Work: Felt that promotion price was misleading as have other Angies list vendors that offer discount. Not specific to this vender often seems that if you don't mention discount, get a price than when you mention you are Angieslist afterwords they say you have to mention it before they quote head of time. The work this firm performed was very good price just too high in my experience.
