We don't use anyone else for our flowers. Even if the people we are sending them to are out of town we always use Flower Hut. Bill Miller and his team area great people. If something is not quite right or there is a mix-up (lets face it, no one is perfect!) I always get an e-mail or phone call from them. Their communications is great, their prices are reasonable and their quality is excellent.

He was ride and unprofessional. Any sane business owner would have took it upon themselves and say sorry for the mix up and re delivery a better arrangement, apologize for the mix up and tell the person go ahead and keep the other arrangement, what would they do with them, as I said they looked half dead on delivery. Well the final comments I received from Bill the owner was a reply I posted on his website review, saying the order was refunded and he sold them to someone else. Wow, unbelievable.

I have used the Flower Hut several times because they are local and are not a big national chain. They send an actual person to your door with the flowers. They are arranged here in Charlotte and brought to the person's home already assembled in the vase. I like the Flower Hut because who wants to send someone flowers that arrived packed in some box from a warehouse somewhere and sent to you via FedEx. That is not sending flowers; that is sending an arts and crafts project! Flower Hut offers great prices and does not jack up the delivery fee to cover some imaginary discount like other web-based flower companies. Flower Hut service rocks and I have never been disappointed with the service or the quality of their product.

I have always given my wife one long stem red rose for every year of mariage.  My planning is usually last minute and the Flower Hut has always had the inventory available, especially now that the numbers required are becoming quite large.

The arrangement was, according to the website, to be delivered in a clay flower pot. It was delivered in a .10 cent plastic container instead. Instead of having more premium flowers, it was exactly as the basic arrangement that was dislplayed on the website. Daisies in the arrangement were browning on the edges, and the arrangment was not 16 inches high as described, it was no higher than 12 inches. I called Sandra, who is either a manager or part owner, and spoke to her the same night that the flowers were delivered and she insisted that she personally had added 6 tulips, but there were only 3, which was the basic arrrangement instead of the deluxe that I paid for. Her explanation was that maybe the delivery person was taking out flowers. She was rather rude on the phone and insisted the only way that she could do anything about it was for me to bring it to them the next morning so they could see it. When I arrived at their shop the next morning, Sandra was rude and seemed to want to "fix" the arrangement and send me on my way. I asked for a full refund and that was agreed upon. I never received an apology for the arrangement or my inconvenience. The whole experience made me feel like they were trying to get one over on me. I will never do business with them again and will do everything in my power to make sure that others do the same.

"The Member is correct in that he ordered an upgraded product and, through a data entry error made by an inexperienced temporary holiday employee, we made and delivered the standard item. The product was made exactly per the online description. The member misread the container specification. (We would NEVER put a floral arrangement in a clay container. They LEAK!) We had no more containers so we had to ask the member to return the arrangement for re-make. Sardha (not Sandra) recalls apologizing twice, and is sorry the member does not recall this. She states that she did NOT accuse a driver of stealing flowers but DID confuse this order with another that HAD been upgraded. She states that she offered to re-make an upgraded version, but the customer declined. We REFUNDED 100% of his money. We have instituted additional order-entry safeguards to reduce (but never eliminate) the likelihood of future data entry errors. The member said, "I will never do business with them again and will do everything in my power to make sure that others do the same." One cannot help but wonder why the member felt compelled to make this statement."

Flowers ordered from florist via that internet. This florist contracted the work to the second florist (flower hut) due to delivery area. We were disappointed with the work for the cost and contacted them about this. We were told we were dishonest and cheap. Apparently we were supposed to call them in the midst of a funeral and discuss the problem. In short, disrupt an already painful situation and make a bad thing worse, in order to satisfy their need to verify we weren't lying or being thieves. Horrible, rude and disgusting.

"We have no record of this order, and no way to research it, since the online floral marketer NEVER provides fulfilling florists with the name of the ordering customer. The complaint seems to be with the online Floral Marketer that they placed the order with, and NOT WITH THE FLOWER HUT. Typically, online Floral Marketers DEDUCT about 40% to 50% of the customer's money and then pass the balance on to a REAL florist (like the Flower Hut) for design and delivery. Naturally, customers often become upset when they see products that are MUCH LOWER IN VALUE than what they paid someone else for. This is a common problem that plagues the floral industry, and one that a NATIONAL operation like Angie's List COULD help ameliorate. We request that this specific complaint be removed from the Flower Hut's reports, as it seems to deal with issues entirely under the control of another company."
