After our cat died they picked him up at the vet, cremated him, and returned his ashes to us the next day.  They also included  a sympathy card and his paw print plus a card with the story of Rainbow Bridge printed on it.  Their compassion helped a painful situation by knowing that when your pet dies, you lose part of your family.

Our much loved family pet of 11 years passed today and this process was new to us on what to do and who to call. After reading other reviews, we decided to call. She passed away at 4am and I called and left a message for Philip at this time. He promptly called back at 7am and was extremely professional and provided our options. Took our dog to their office and was there at 8am where I was promptly helped, completed necessary paperwork and was provided with all my options to ensure I was completely satisfied. There facility was spotless and organized. If you are in need, let the folks at Faithful Companion help you. In this sad time in our family's life, their prompt service and return of the ashes later that day was impeccable. I personally would not have changed one thing about my experience with them. You will not regret this decision!!!! A++ service. Cede, you will be deeply missed and we will always love you.

Our Veterinarian recommended this company because the Vet and his staff went to the company to witness their handling of pet cremations. I couldn't ask for a better endorsement than to know the Veterinarian who cared so wonderfully for our dog could also vouch for her care after she died. Our dog was euthanized at 3pm on a Friday. The next day around 9am, I got a call from Faithful Companion to express condolences, get our Visa info for payment and to tell me her remains would be ready TODAY for pick up at the Vet's office (as planned). I was amazed at the quick turn-around, especially on the weekend. They seemed compassionate and professional and I can't tell you how nice it was to have and quot;our girl back homeand quot; in a beautiful box (they called it their and quot;basic boxand quot;) on the mantel. Their and quot;basic boxand quot; was a heavy, intricately carved box...really lovely.

Our beloved 18-year-old ginger tabby, JP, passed away suddenly on December 17. Our normal vet was closed for the day, and we were at a loss as to how to handle the situation. I contacted Faithful Companion, left a message, and received a return call.
They offered to come to our home and pick up JP, but I declined, saying I'd rather bring him in to them. They agreed and gave me a time to meet at the office.
The young man we met there could not have been nicer. He explained everything to me and my wife. He gave us a nice box, and we wrapped our guy in his favorite sleeping blanket, placed the toy found with him in the blanket, and turned him over to the Faithful Companion folks.
The next day we received a call that we could come pick him up. We arrived and were greeted warmly. His remains were given to us, along with a nice card, and bag. He now rests comfortably in a drawer in our home.
He could not have been a sweeter cat. I thank Faithful companion for their caring and kind service.

I am very appreciative with the kind, gentle manner of everyone I met. They even made a paw print plaque of my cat for me with a beautiful red bow and little red heart embedded in the plaque. It was so appropriate because just before Gayla passed, I massaged her paws. I am ever so grateful for their generosity.

It is always difficult to lose a loving pet. These folks were polite and returned her remains in one day.
The work was not actually performed at my home, but the form will not let me put anything else so
that is what it says.

Maybe it’s a little morbid to write a recommendation for pet cremation services, but I had such a positive experience at this place, I feel I need to get the word out. So my kitty died, and my husband and I had no idea what to do with her remains. We didn’t want to bury her, and we didn’t want to leave her at the vet for them to take care of her. So we found this place online.

We called (this was within an hour of losing her), and we made an appointment to bring her down that same day. When we brought her in, they met us at the front door. No awkward introductions, no trying to be fakey smiley. They just opened the door for us and greeted us with, “I am so very sorry.” It was a relief to not have to try and put on a brave face after just having lost our beloved cat. They led us into a private room where they provided a box that was lined with a padded pet bed for us to place her in. Then they left the room and let us say our final good-byes to her. When we were ready, they led us into another waiting room while we waited for her to be cremated. They had light snacks and drinks for us. They chatted briefly with us, and then left us alone. They have a wide variety of urns and memorial boxes; we went with the basic one. It was a small wooden box (the wood was finished with a walnut stain). They placed her ashes in the box, and the box in a bag along with a sympathy card. The whole process took about an hour. Their prices were very reasonable.

They also offer a pickup and delivery service, and they guarantee your pet’s ashes to be delivered to you within 24 hours.

What drew us to this place is the fact they only cremate one animal at a time. We found out in our research that some places will wait until they have 5 or 6 animals, and then cremate them together and divide the remains. This was kind of disturbing to us. You also have to wait a week for some places to return your pet’s ashes to you, and some other places won’t even let you see their facilities. Had we taken our cat to another place, we didn’t feel certain that we’d be guaranteed to even be getting her ashes back. Faithful Companion was so up front about their practices. You can even sit in the room with unit while your pet is being cremated. We chose not to, but I felt that was a display of how ethical their practices are.

Faithful Companion was an unexpected comfort to us at the end of a long and horrible day. They clearly understand that pets are family. We were treated with such respect and compassion. And the whole process had a sense of formality to it that we were able to get a sense of closure. I am so grateful to them.

We recently made the incredibly hard decision to release our elderly Yorkshire Terrier from increasing pain and suffering, but did not want to just leave him at the Vet to be put in a plastic bag and picked up sometime later that week We felt he deserved better. We had a Faithful Companion brochure picked up from a pet show, but knew nothing about the business. From the first call to make arrangements, I could not have been more impressed with their professionalism and organization.
They offer numerous options, including pickup from the Vets in lined casket (not a plastic bag), to personalized delivery after cremation, in the urn of your choice. We chose to transport our pet personally from the vets office to the place of cremation, stay with him and view the actual cremation in a small one pet at a time operation. We stayed with him the entire time, which is offered through a clean, quiet and child friendly viewing room.
We were able to take the ashes home with us that day. Each pet is treated individually, with dignity and respect.
If this an option you choose at the end of your pets life, I highly recommend their services.
