7/12/24, Our niece Ashly Adams paid for Service they did not receive. They pay monthly fee, for years, to protect A/C in home. Dilling has Emergency Service. Ashly called Dilling to come. They blew her off, left her, her son, special need adult, 2 large breed dogs & us, her elderly Aunt/Uncle, that’s 72 in 90*/96* heat for 3 days. There was no reason other than incompetence/lack of Customer Care that Dilling did not come immediately. Dilling takes money but does not train employees to properly handle job duty functions. Dilling should not guilt their customers by saying “we are struggling, we can not find any good technicians”! That is not a Customer Issue. Dilling treated our Family unprofessionally, unethically & immorally. No Company should endanger special need adult/elderly/dogs. Abuse/Neglect/Endangerment in 90*/96* Degrees/3 days. Any of us could have stroked/dehydrated/died! Dilling does not struggle taking Client money. They struggle with properly training their employee's.

Scammers. I needed a repair and they told me it required a full replacement. Had a second opinion and I was correct, $200 repair and we are 100% working again

I was out of town on business when my wife called and said the ac wasn't cold. She called this company and tech daniel arrived. Told my wife the ac unit is broken and there's no way to fix it needs a new one and quoted her $15,000 for a new combo unit. Even tried telling her if you don't replace both units at once t won't work properly. Had Tyson services come out today and they flipped the breaker and the ac works perfectly fine. They tried taking advantage of a female who doesn't know better. I'd like to see this tech in person when I get home. Don't know how they have so many reviews. This company should be under investigation

One 7/15/2023 I have noticed one of the two AC's in our home not producing cold air. I have talked to a neighbor that also has the same exact AC systems and he gave me a phone number to a company that he used in the past. Dilling. I have contacted them on 7/15/2023. I explained the situation and experience I had with US Heating and Air. They told me they would like to send a technician to give me an opinion at no cost. This was after another company US Air Heating and Cooling told me a part needed a replacement, but part is not available. On 7/16 I was contacted by Dilling technician who right away even without visiting started telling me that York AC's are no good, they are builder grade and at 9yrs old that it's likely best to replace the system. However the technician arrived. Did not find or looked for any problems, but was mostly interested in sitting down and talking about a replacement system. I was told so many things in a high pressure sales tactics that if I don't pay them the 10 to 12k price to replace the AC I would have problems and my system would fail and that I don't want untrained minimum wage workers work at my home and so many other points that led me to start thinking that these AC companies have untrained or little trained technicians come to offer replacement AC's each and every time. They are not interested in low cost repairs or simply don't know how to repair. Dilling did not offer any written estimates for repair. They told me a repair would probably cost $2500 to $3500 and that I am better off replacing with new one. They also told me how they are replacing 2-3 years old systems because people don't understand how to properly install them. And so on. The promised no cost 2nd opinion ended up costing me $95.45 because the technician said that he is only going to charge me for the visit and left. I then called another technician from E Genius Appliance. He came same day on 7/18. Spent about 1hr. Said that only pressure needed to be adjusted, made the adjustments. No parts were needed. Gave me 1 year warranty. Told me it's an easy fix. TXV devices freeze as per normal operation. I have tried to contact Dilling Comfort Advisor, Technician and their office 3 times to resolve the situation and request a refund for their visit. I was told that a manager would call me to discuss. It's been 3 days. No calls.

Air conditioner stopped cooling, so called this company for service. Tech came out, and I was worried when he saw the condenser unit outside and said, "Wow, I've never seen one of these before." He noted a couple problems- outside unit wasn't cleaned and noted buildup around capacitor/starter for the condenser (but still working), estimate $400. Just had outside unit cleaned and diagnostic- $200. Was told if it was not working, then would be $1000 to replace a bad metering device (and take weeks or months to arrive), or at least $6000 to replace our "15 year old" unit. It didn't work, but we got a second opinion. Second provider came, and said the tech from Dilling didn't know what he was talking about. We have modern 410A equipment and 2016 evaporator coils. It was a clogged drain that kept tripping the EZ trap. Simple repair, and only $150. Works great now. TLDR- Don't Use Dilling!!! Unqualified service tech did not know or understand my equipment, gave incorrect information on age of equipment, and recommended overpriced repair/replacement!!*****FOLLOW UP**********Shortly after posting my review above, the company contacted me. Wesley Ghantt from Dilling called regarding quality control, and asked about my complaint. He not only took the time to listen and understand, but he also came out to my house to inspect my equipment- to help him understand where his technician fell short. After looking at everything, including the work from the second company, he resolved to educating his technicians better to prevent this from happening to other future customers. He also took the time to provide me with some education on how to keep the equipment running longer and decreased the likelihood of future drain clogs.I appreciated the follow up and the time spent, and I appreciate the fact that he will educate his technicians to prevent errors for future clients.

They claimed I had a leak in the air handler coils and recommended to replace both inside and outside units. The quote was to replace was $7,200 and that was with a customer discount. My AC system is 5 Year’s old I has a second opinion and they could not find a leak in the air handler coils. They did find a leak in one of the soldered condenser tubes joint. They evacuated the coolant and soldered the joint and installled new coolant for a cost of $600. It has been 6 weeks and the unit is running fine
