I had a terrible experience with this General Contractor on many levels and would never use him again. I have done many home projects including full renovations and this is the first time I have ever reported a contractor. Simply put, it was the worst experience of my life with a general contractor. I reported this contractor to the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors (“NCLBGC”). As a result, this General Contractor was cited by the NCLBGC for violations during the process. The two violations included a building code violation whereby a back door, which is approximately 4 feet above the ground, was not provided with a landing. The door was simply left hanging 4 feet off the ground. A second violation, received during the complaint process, involved the GC providing false information on his renewal application to the NCLBGC. Both of these are a matter of Public Record and I have the documentation to prove my statements.
