The owner was very flexible with us regarding setting up the installation of our new counter tops. We had to reschedule installation several times due to issues with our new cabinets. He came to our home and showed us all his counter top materials which made it much easier to choose the counter top we wanted.

When we saw this booth at the Spring Show a few months back, we were blown away.  We both loved what we saw and my smart and lovely wife had that look in her eye. The owner Nels came for an estimate.  No pressure, but the price seemed reasonable so we got on his schedule which was about 7 weeks out.  Worth the wait. He offered great service by dropping off some samples of the design we had finally decided on.  Came on the scheduled date and performed as promised.  The result?  Beautiful!  We're thrilled.

Installer was prompt, product was installed with extreme neatness and detail... very please with this countertop solution that all my friends think is granite!

I was preparing my house for sale and talked to 5 different vendors about new countertops in my kitchen. I chose Carolina Custom Countertops because of their price, quality and warranty.
The product they installed was a crushed granite composite that went in as one piece (including the sink). Because it wasn't 100% granite, the maintenance is easier than with granite and they provide a warranty.
What I didn't know at the time of purchase was how fantastic their service would be.
They were at my house on time and installed the countertops in the time they said they would.
The added touch came at the end. I forgot that I was supposed to have a plumber come reinstall my water fixtures. When I told them of my mistake, they were able to find a plumber to come over at the last minute. To top it off, my fixtures had deteriorated so badly they couldn't be reused. Rather than make me run all the way to Lowe's or Home Depot to get new fixtures, the Carolina Custom Countertops owner gave me a spare fixture he happened to have in his truck.
Now that's service!

This company is 3 hours away from me, (I live in Clayton NC) they are based out of Charlotte NC. They were recommended from a local company who did not do the special job that I wanted for my sinks, so they recommended Carolina Custom Countertops. Nels came to give me an estimate and about 3 weeks later they came to install the countertops. They were on time, professional and did a wonderful job in one day. I highly recommend them. My Kitchen is now a bright new beautiful kitchen The counter tops flow into the sink and back splashes making it seamless and clean looking. I would recommend them highly.

Overall the experience was wonderful. Both Nels and Eric were very professional in their work and kept us up to speed on the progress. If they had to adjust something such as the leveling of the counters they let us know before they did it. We were very pleased with everything from the first meeting and estimate to the finished product.

We rated the quality of product, price, and installation job as good overall. CCC did everything they agreed to do in a professional manner. The only issues we had were with the plumber (who was one CCC arranged for) and with dust on our cars from cutting the countertop in our driveway. All 3 cars had to be washed afterwards. CCC told us they could arrange for the plumbing reconnect (a separate part of the job) and we agreed to use theirs. After removing our old sink the plumber disassembled it on the tile floor of our sun room and got old putty and water on the tile. He should have taken it out of doors for this or at least asked permission and laid a towel or tarp down where he was working. Other than that the job was very well done and we are very satisfied with the product and installation. We would use CCC again, but would arrange for our own plumber.

Saw product at a home show. Nels came to our house and took measurements and wrote up a quote on the spot. Prices were less than we expected and we were impressed with his ability to answer all our questions and his obvious confidence in the quality of the product.

Arrived promptly and completed the work in a matter of hours. Nels and his helper carefully removed the old counter tops and installed the new crushed granite counters.

We are very happy with the service, price and the great looking kitchen and bath. We would gladly recommend this business and would hire him again.

We discovered the company at the Southern Ideal Home Show. We liked the looks of his product. Nels (owner of the company) was very knowledgeable and helpful with our questions. His work included removing the old kitchen counter tops and sink, disposing of them and installing the new counter tops including an integrated sink. The product (Poly Stone) looks great and the price is quite reasonable.

We found them at a home product show. We set up an appointment, he came into our home, and I brought up the topic that he received an F grade on Angie’s List. He told me that it was a situation where he tried and tried to remedy it with the customer but he couldn’t. He was very up front about everything and he wasn’t trying to hide anything. We decided to go with him so he took our measurements. His estimate was a couple of hundred dollars over Home Depot’s estimate and I told him about it so he met their price. He got everything done as he said he would and it is a beautiful counter top. He had mismeasured so it didn’t fit properly when he brought it in but he apologized and came back two days later. He actually came on a Sunday to put everything back in. It is okay with me that he made an error because he was honest about it and fixed it. He’ll take things apart but you need a licensed plumber to reconnect things so you can bring in your own or he’ll have his regular plumber come in. It was a great experience and we are very pleased with him. He gave me two or three references and I called one that was very pleased with him.

I would rate them a "B" across the board and I would probably use them again in the future if needed.

Overall this company does not stand behind their work and they make promises they cannot or will not keep. The overall product really sucks. I would never recommend this company or product to anyone. I am so sorry I went with this product. Believe me when I say I have alot of counter top space to cover and would love to have something very specal and outstanding. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT OR COMPANY.

It was excellent. They did the work ahead of when it was scheduled. It was done when they said. There were no problems. They left the house clean each day. They were outstanding!

I would say that there was room for improvement. They went too fast, they were really messy, they didn't clean up after themselves, they didn't warn me about anything. They didn't warn me that there was a chance things could happen to my cupboard drawers.

I originally contacted Nels 6 months ago when I was comparison shopping for a new kitchen countertop and sink. He came to my house twice to take measurements and discuss design ideas. He also gave me several color samples of the product. There were no pressure tactics, no phone calls and no time lines. Over those 6 months I tested the samples with hair dye, juice and sauces and everything washed off without staining. I used the samples as trivets for hot pots and pans and there was no sign of damage. I even sliced into one with a paring knife and was unable to see or feel any difference in the surface! After comparing all other options, I called Nels to schedule installation. He arrived at the scheduled time with 2 helpers. They removed my existing sink and countertops and installed the new seamless countertops with molded sink in approximately 3 hours. The back splash seam and corners were sealed with a color matched silicone and they cleaned all surfaces several times before leaving. The workmanship is excellent and my kitchen looks beautiful! An unexpected bonus - The molded double sink is deeper than standard sinks, and, the drains are located toward the back. This leaves more space in the cabinet underneath when the pipes are reconnected.

Nels and his helper did an excellent job. The countertops are beautiful. The unique sink design is a real plus. Nice deep sink (9 inches) is made out of the countertop material. No extra charge for beveled edges! Installation was very professional and Nels took care of all details. He removed and disposed of old countertops; definitely got a lot for the price. Job was all inclusive except for replumbing the sink. Nels has a plumber he works with who was right there to reconnect the sink, install faucet, garbage disposal, etc. as soon as he finished installing the countertops (separate $200). The countertops only took a couple of hours to install and he is a one-stop shop! Excellent craftsmanship! These countertops need no maintenance and give a rich look to the kitchen. Installed in large pieces, minimal seams; only where countertop meets backsplash and they are invisible. I am more than pleased. There is a large selection of colors to choose from. I got Cappuccino.

Nels was very professional and did everything he promised on time. All debris were removed. We are very please with the results and really like the built in sink. He did a great job of fitting the countertop to our existing wall tile. We found a couple of nicks after installation and he returned and repaired them to our satisfaction. We found the pricing to be extremely competitive.
