Larry and his team did a fantastic job with the painting. He also installed my glass tile backsplash. We couldnâ t be happier and have since had him paint our foyer and hallway. We will certainly be using him in other projects. He is hardworking and dependable (although wasnâ t always on time but he does run other crews). He is personable and friendly. We found Larry on this site as well as one other painting company because of favorable reviews. We called and spoke with both men and set initial appointments to meet to discuss our painting needs. Although we met with the other company first, the man never got back to us with an estimate. When Larry arrived we gave him the complete picture of what we needed, including installation of a new tile kitchen backsplash, interior wall and trim painting, light fixture replacements in several rooms, and a new fan installation. Our townhome is 22 years old and needed quite a bit of work. Larry gave us a very fair and reasonable bid on all the work, and we hired him to do all of the above. I've been around the construction industry in various capacities for over 30 years. Larry is one of the finest men I have ever worked with. The quality of his painting and other work is outstanding. Hes a perfectionist and did not consider the job finished or ask for any payment until we and he were 120% satisfied. He went above and beyond in every category, including educating us on the best paint for our needs. His integrity, honesty, tremendous work ethic, and general all-around great behavior and communication skills made working with him a pleasure. He brought one other painter with him who did a superb job on our trim. Both men worked in our home for 4 days to ensure we had the finest job possible. My wife and I couldnt be more pleased. Because of the quality of his work and his excellent attitude, we have already referred him to close friends who need similar work. We will continue to refer Larry and his team to anyone who might need a variety of services including painting and more.

Let's start with this - Blalock construction did EVERYTHING! And everything they did was AWESOME! HomeAdvisor doesn't let me pick a category that captures everything they did. Larry and crew covered off on small repairs, hanging cabinets, coming up with solutions to problems I've had around the house for years. I had no idea I would get my house painted. Originally, they were looking for repairable exterior boards. Larry found some issues, communicated all through the process. Finally, he was SO on the mark with helping us stay within the budget that when the subject came up, I absolutely wanted him to have any and all of our future work. I worked with my dad, fresh out of college, for about 2.5 years. My dad was a custom builder. In that short time, and the nearly 30 years since - I've NEVER met someone like Larry Blalock. He's a rare combination of genuine, down to earth, service oriented, great communication, and 100% integrity. I should give him a bad review so nobody else will swoop in and take him away from us. But I can't lie. He's awesome. I'm already planning to save up for the next round of things I want Blalock construction to do for my wife and I. He has added so much to our home, I can't thank him enough!

I had Larry paint the entire house along with some other various drywall work. Not only was he able to get the work started the following morning, he had the entire project done within a couple of days. I was so pleased with the work, I had him do that I hired him to do all of the work required on the home inspection for the house I was selling. He completed that work within 48 hours. Absolutely one of the most courteous and professional people I have ever worked with.

I had the entire bathroom done. Tile, flooring, painting! Amazing, well done, very professional, cleaned up after each day. Highly recommendable!

Larry and the Blalock Construction Crew repaired several places in the boxing under our eaves, as well as the weathered masonite around our chimney. They did a beautiful job and everything looks like new! Every person on the team was knowledgeable, friendly and thoughtful.

He completed various projects that I wanted done in our new home, such as molding work, newel posts, screen door, sheetrock repair and more. I told him he is someone I will call for future projects I need. He was always friendly, on time, fair on price ,and went the extra mile. Larry replaced the casing around my front door and also repaired a strip of siding over the garage door. He also painted the casing, the posts on the front porch and the garage door. Larry did an excellent job and I would not hesitate to hire him again.

I hired Larry Blalock to repair a ceiling of a rental property due to water damage. He repaired the ceiling beautifully, but didn't come back to paint the area after he promised numerous times that he would do it. I can't, in good conscience, recommend someone that doesn't stand by his word.

I have used Larry Blalock for multiple jobs including siding,drywall, and tile. He is top notch. He shows up when he says will be there and does exceptional work. He leaves behind no mess!! I have recommended him to all of my friends!

Larry is a fantastic guy. If you're in need of service, I cannot recommend him highly enough. He was extremely prompt (which can be a challenge when you're dealing with contractors sometimes), he was communicative, he was very friendly and affable, and most importantly excellent at his job. I hired Larry to install a handicap rail in my mother's bathtub. She had recently had a fall, and her doctor recommended it. Larry came out exactly when he said he would, had everything he needed with him, and was literally done with the entire job in less than 20 minutes. Yes, seriously. The installation was level, sturdy, and looked great. this is exactly what we needed. I was appreciative of Larry being willing to come out so close to the holiday weekend. Him being a very friendly guy was an excellent bonus. I will absolutely be using him for future repairs/remodeling at my mother's place as well as my own. I highly suggest giving Blalock Construction a call. I was very impressed with the service I received. As a Facilities Management professional, I am very well versed in contractors, and I have to say that Larry and his company are at the top of the heap. Great team.

Larry has done literally hundreds of Jobs for me. He is the most knowledgeable drywall tech I have ever had. He is not only good, but gets the work done FAST. Honest, friendly, and dependable. He has never let me down. Hire him! You won't regret it.
