The furniture quality is poor at best, and then you pay extra for the extended warranty and they will not stand behind the product and do what you pay for with the warranty. They all place blame on the other. Ashley blames montage and montage blames Ashley or says they cannot do anything. Do not believe the hype around the warranty that says they cover "everything." It is a lie at best, and anytime there is a problem they don't want to cover it.

Description of Work: They kept canceling delivery for a total of 4 times never made it right it had been 2 months since we had purchased our furniture so we canceled and purchased somewhere else.

Description of Work: Ordered Sealy adjustable bed, but I felt like it wasn't like the one in the store. A year later went out and bought another bed from a competitor. Felt like sales person really wasn't interested when we went back in. Got an uncomfortable feeling that when you walk in and the salesperson knows you they don't want you going back to service desk.

I am still waiting to hear what they are going to do. So far it has been waiting on hold, meeting the over talkative technician who told me his life experience in furniture repairs and how the products are substandard because they are all imported from China. The sofas look as if 3 elephants have taken to the family room and lounged on them for 2 years. The welting is uneven, cushions are curved and cracked looking. The rear of the sofas have fabric billowing that looks like the wind blows it if you walk by. The quality of this furniture is unacceptable on any level. I want the furniture picked up and replaced with quality pieces.
Description of Work: I purchased two sofas from the Pineville Loction they are 8 weeks old, broken down, fabric is billowing in the back, cushions are condensed. I have been in the stores 3 times and they are doing very little to fix the issue. Technician came out today to say he may need to refill cushions and reorder seat cushions and that they can try to fix them. They are 8 weeks old and fixing them when they are in this condition is unacceptable.

Bought a sofa and love seat, looked really great in showroom and was a good price. On day of delivery, they called and told me that they only could deliver the love seat and that the sofa would be delivered and 7 to 10 days. I had to make repeated trips to the store and was told repeatedly over 6 weeks that it would be delivered next week. When they did deliver the sofa, the guys delivering were 3 hours late (promised delivery at 10:00AM and they finally showed up at 1:00PM). I do not recommend anyone buy furniture from Ashley Furniture.

My wife and I went shopping at Ashley for a dresser set for my daughter. The salespeople were very nice and pointed us to the area where the pieces we were interested in were located and left us alone to look. When we decided on what we wanted, the saleswoman who helped us took us over to the computer to ring us up. We opted to pick up the furniture ourselves rather than pay a delivery fee (I think delivery was $50-75). They told us the furniture would be in for pick-up in 2 weeks and gave us directions to the warehouse center nearby where you go to pick it up. They called and told us it was ready for pick-up, and my brother-in-law and I drove out there to get it. The guys at the warehouse helped us load it into a pick-up truck from their loading bay and we brought it home and set it up ourselves. No issues, and a great piece of furniture.
Description of Work: Purchased my daughter's dresser set with mirror from them.

It was a nightmare. Avoid Ashley.
Description of Work: Purchased bedroom furniture set advertised on weekly sales flyer. Would not honor the price on the ad. Tried to deliver early when we were out of town. Tried to charge 20% re-stocking fee when we refused delivery. Had to dispute charges with credit card company. Avoid Ashley!

I MEAN IT WAS JUST SALESPEOPLE. THEY WERE VERY INFORMATIVE. I ASKED IF THEY COULD DO ANYTHING ELSE FOR ME, AND THEY GAVE ME AN EXTRA TEN PERCENT OFF FOR THAT. THEY NEGOTIATED WELL. THE DELIVERY WAS EXCEPTIONAL BECAUSE THEY PUT THE FURNITURE IN THE ROOMS AND NOTHING WAS DAMAGED WHEN IT GOT HERE.
Description of Work: I BOUGHT FORMAL LIVING ROOM FURNITURE, BEDROOM FURNITURE, AND KITCHEN FURNITURE. THEY ALSO DELIVERED AND CARRIED IT ALL INTO MY HOUSE.
