Amy's Cleaners

We had been going to Amy's for years and were very happy with the service and level of professionalism and customer focus but Amy retired in 2016 and everything has gone downhill since. The last straw was last week when I arrived at 6:55pm (they close at 7pm) and the lights were turned off and the owner was getting ready to leave. When I asked if I could pick up my items she said that I would need to come back tomorrow morning. When I said that the sign said they were open until 7pm she said that she had already closed the register with no apology or explanation. When I came back the next day, there was no mention of the night before or any discount offered for my inconvenience. This would NEVER have occurred when Amy was the owner. Looking for a new dry cleaners.

Pants were damaged. HORRIBLE customer service experience. I had used this cleaners for over a year. Initially they were fine. Then, I'm not sure if they changed ownership or what, but a new woman was working the front. When I tried to talk to her about the damage to my pants she was incredibly rude and had the audacity to tell me that I must have damaged the pants myself. (!?) I will never go back there again.

After being frustrated with poor service with dry cleaners, I finally ran across a real gem - Amys Cleaners. The store is operated by the owner (Amy) who has provided me with outstanding service for the past 18 months. I have waited this long to post a review because after using so many cleaners whose service went from acceptable to unacceptable and whose employees changed weekly, I wanted to make sure that Amys lived up to my expectations. Not only has she met my expectations, she has delighted me with clothes that look great and prices that are very reasonable. In addition, her process does not use the environmentally
problematic solvents and she personally does repairs and alterations. Bravo Amy - finally a cleaner I can trust.
