It was a bad omen when we first entered the store to find a ranting and shouting customer who had not received his goods even though he had paid for then.. It's a long story, but the short of it is we purchased a bed set and when it was delivered it was wet. They refused to take it away and we were told to talk with customer services, who never answered their phone or returned left messages. Even though the manufacturer confirmed they delivered a defective product, they would not refund our money. After several months of being forced to keep this defective bed in our house, we got the Better Business Beaureu involved and Americas Mattress decided to promptly remove the defective bed and give us our refund. Once burnt, twice shy!! We won't be having any further dealings with this company.

I'm very health conscious so I wanted to get an organic mattress because my husband has a breathing problem. I had heard that there was a company with an organic mattress so I called this store to ask about it. The salesperson said that they carried that mattress, and it was called the Pisces. They delivered it to my house for $2700.00. I got no receipt when I charged it on my credit card over the phone. I called two other stores for estimates on the same type of mattress. I was told that it was $2100.00. The salesperson told me that they would give me a $600 credit, with a receipt. I realized several months later that the mattress didn't have any indication that it was organic. I called the store back to ask about it and they ensured me that it was still organic. My husband then checked online and found out that it was not in fact organic. I called the company back, and they told me that they didn't sell organic mattresses. We asked for our money back because they lied to us but they tried to convince us to keep it. They are trying to play it off like I am the liar, not them. They now wont return our calls. The Better Business Bureau was not able to help me.

The delivery guys were not equipped with the right screws for the mirror and the drawer knobs and we were missing one pillow. While it was not their fault, they weren't too interested in solving the problem. Prior to the delivery, we had asked the delivery company to use booties because we just had the carpets cleaned the night before. They guys did NOT have anything and didn't want to use the booties that we gave them . I had to find screws from my own toolbox and then drill them myself to hang the mirror on the dresser. They didn't know how to do it or didn't want to do it. Then when I asked them to move the dresser back closer to the wall a couple of inches, Joseph complained that he needed to get to his next delivery or he'd get in trouble from his boss. He mouthed off about it not being his job and started swearing at me. When he came at me and punched me, I told him to go. He continued to mouth off in front of his partner and my wife. He lingered downstairs and still wouldn't leave. Then he got angry and attacked me on the stairs and punched my face over and over. Before leaving, he kicked a large hole in the wall in my foyer. The end result is I have a broken nose, fracture in my orbital socket, pain throughout my neck, shoulder, back, ankle and knee. The ER doctor said I would need plastic surgery for the breaks.
Description of Work: We purchased a bedroom set, mattress, mattress cover and pillows from the Pineville store. Two delivery guys came with the furniture.

Purchased a mattress from this company. Delivery was set up by them for the following day. No phone call to say they would be late. Then I called them again and was told that the delivery would not happen the day they said it would. Read the fine print. Store does not process refunds. You get the run around on the phone. Do not under any circumstances do business with this company. Save yourself the total dissatisfaction of doing business with them.

Absolutely horrible customer service. We purchased a $4000 bed along with 2 pillows and a mattress pad. The pillows and mattress pad that were delivered were incorrect and we had to argue with the delivery guys that it wasn't right. Finally after several phone calls, they agreed to send us the correct ones the following day. We realized that there was nothing on the bed identifying it as the one we bought (specifically the law tag) After calling them again several times (many of the people at the store claimed that there was no tag) they agreed to show us the tag the following day when they dropped off the correct pillows and mattress. Upon delivery, the delivery guys were not able to locate any legal tag, they then called "the delivery manager" who was overheard telling delivery guy "Tell them to stop worrying, there is no tag". We confirmed with the manufacturer (Tempurpedic) and with the law that this tag is mandatory and must be on the bed for it to be sold. It is now over 8 days later and I am still not sure what their course of action will be. Customer service/management (I was only able to find 1 number and 1 email) is impossible to get a hold of/ is avoiding my calls. We just want a solution presented with some hard dates. We are not positive that the mattress is genuine. After spending over $4000 for my wife on Mother's Day- we are unhappy, displeased, have spent over 9 hours on the phone, and still don't have a hard resolution. This is a large company with an A- BBB rating so I am surprised at how awful this experience has been. Please avoid at all costs.
