My overall experience was good

I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. We were scheduled for a move and the day of the move at 2:30 PM they canceled on us. The call-center person Lawrence was the most rude and difficult person to deal with and he actually hung up on me.

Did not use cost too high.

Professional

Customer service was very responsive, movers were not the most efficient movers. My husband and I had to watch them constantly or they would stand around. We finished the move over an hour before what we were quoted because we kept everyone on task. It was well worth the money and we had minimal damage to our items.

I hired this company to do a moving service. They just left and never came back and never finish the job after they got paid without any noticed

We used AMS moving because we used them in the past and had a good experience. They also provided us a binding quote which was nice to know exactly what we were going to have to pay. Our move was complicated because it was out of state (NC to OH) and I had to delay the length of our move a couple days last minute because of closing. AMS was flexible to find the best solution for our new move dates. We worked directly with the same person through the initial coordination which was nice. The estimate was virtual which was convenient, but also still very thorough to ensure we were getting an accurate quote. The actual move went well. We had a great crew of 4 (Greg, amber, Charles, ovidio) who worked very hard and very diligent to coordinate with us during the move. They were true life savers! Greg is a huge Cincinnati Bearcats football fan, so it was good chatting with him and knew I could trust him with my things as someone who recognized who the best team is in college football :)

Extremely bad service even before the move is scheduled. During the initial call, the customer service person was definitely very good and offered an estimate appnt as well as moving date. We were told to wait a call from estimate person. Melissa, called and rudely mentioned that our original date is taken and they have to move to another date a week away. When i asked why that is. she mentions that i did not reserve the original moving date. When i said the customer service person didnt ask me to reserve and said all is confirmed the move date, i could not understand what she is talking about. When i questioned why did this happen, she was very rude, declined to explain and disconnected the phone. Not something i expected from this company. quite quite disappointed.

BUYER BEWARE!!! They cancelled at 8:00am today- Friday - our moving day! They were supposed to be here between 8:00am-10:00am. They said they could not move me until Tuesday!!! We have to be out today! Now we are scrambling to find movers and no one is available. They did not even try to find other movers for us! They said it was not their job!!!!!!!! These guys are no professional! They do not care about their customers. Do not book with them!!!

THE WORST EVER

I hired AMS on June 9 2021 for a local move for June 14 2021. At 8:10 am the day of the move AMS called and cancelled. Reason being : employees called out of work. I asked if they could do the move the next day. The answer was no. The earliest would be the 24th of June. Not only was the rep unsympathetic but on the edge of being unprofessional. Beware.

They cancel my move because I asked about the time they would show up to move me. It was 1pm when I called asking about what time your guys were going to show, I had been waiting all morning; no phone call, no email, nothing. The dispatcher stated he did not know and told he can cancel my moving job if I did not want to wait. I only asked the dispatcher about what time and he got mad and canceled my move Monday June 14 2021. Not good customer service, good business very disrespectful to older black man. Dispatcher needs to know how to talk to black people, very rude.

This is the worst moving company. They could not fit everything on their moving truck and left 2 wardrobe boxes behind. When asked about the boxes they said oh well and did not seem to care. They also wanted to charge me an additional truck charge of $500.00. They basically just randomly loaded the truck, not organized. Secondly, they just threw everything in boxes, with no care about anything. The only items they wrapped were glassware. They did not even wrap a coffee pot, how it survived, I do not know. I am still going through to see all the damages. When I called them about the issue with boxes, the office basically said what do you want me to do about it. Not a professional attitude at all.

Ruben worked hard the entire time however his associate, Nelson worked for about an hour and a half. Nelson then spent A LOT of time on his phone talking to his wife and FaceTiming her showing her my apartment (which made me uncomfortable) talking on the phone to people, and playing LOUD music. The load out time should have been about 3 hours but was over 5. Their truck couldn't do the speed limit so their drive took longer also costing more. Load in was faster because Nelson did not care how he put stuff in. Ruben was careful and listened. I wound up paying more for one mover instead of two. My cost was nowhere near the quote and I am not happy. I will not hire them again.

The service was great. Darrel Lawson and the other workers were very courteous and went beyond to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. So I would definitely recommend and use All My Sons Moving & Storage again!

Tahj Rumley went over and above during my move. He was a gentleman from start to finish. I enjoyed meeting him and his cousin and would recommend him to every one!

All My Sons helped me move from Texas all the way to Charlotte, NC (what a drive!) They loaded everything up quickly, professionally, and got everything delivered in a timely manner. My crew was efficient and helpful. They set up my furniture where I needed it, which was awesome, considering I am a single mom and did not really have the time (or muscle) to rearrange my home post move day. I would highly recommend All My Sons to anyone. I will definitely be using them again!
