Here at A&J Lawn Mower Repair we are a Full Mobile Repair of all Lawn Mowers and Outdoor Power Equipment "Where we Bring the Shop to You". Compare my rates to the competition you will see for yourself. We also work on some major appliances and we even have the bootie covers for your home to protect your flooring with. We are offering a year round speacial on servicing push mowers of $75 and up Riders $150 and up and commercial mowers $160 and up the service includes oil, air filter, spark plug, Check/set RPM's, fuel system cleaning, sharpening blades. Some riders include changing the oil filter and all riders Setting/Checking deck leveling. We are the only full service Mobile small engine Shop with the best rates our flat hour rate is $75 an hr. The only thing we can not do on site is rebuild your motor at your home no need to worry about getting it to the shop we will take it to our shop and bring it back to you and set it on the machine at no extra charge other than the cost of the rebuild.At the shop we charge $65 an hr for all major work. We do have a limited warranty and on rebuilds we guarantee labor for 90 days and parts up to 1 yr limited. Due to being mobile we will add a $20 surcharge for any service further than 20 miles from Mint Hill. I was unable to keep appointments as I stated and I really did forget the first time and the next time you called you failed to give me your address as I did not keep it from the year before. Again I am sorry. I would like to make it up to you by giving you a free full summer tune up on your mower whenever you get this"
"We offer gr8 service to hundreds of people with every now and then there are people you can not make happy. I have 1-2 sub contractors who work for my company that ARE lawn mower mechanics. They are how ever part timers who need the extra money. We charge $75 min 1 hr show up and that is as of March 1st 2011. We placed an add on here 2 yrs ago and have not updated any info due to the member we are updating. HE had a push mower he wanted to get the drive going and the trimmer he wanted us to fix was unrepairable. This is how my company operates and ALL MECHANICS in this industry will tell you if it is beyond economical repair we will not fix it as you can buy a newer one cheaper than repairing it. The member had a push mower the inner gears on the wheels were in bad shape the belt was cracked and you could hear the gears in the gearbox sounded gone that if we repaired would have been over 200 tax labor and parts you can buy a new self propell for $269 lowes. the trimmer had a bad inner shaft to which would cost after tax labor and part 100 to fix you could buy for $169 new lowes. why would we fix them my mechanic told him they were not repairable. Also my guys do not show up for free gas and time cost money hence the min of 1 hr to show up. Had the items been repaired the $75 would have been included say the bill was a service on a push mower which cost $75 that would have been the total. say you needed a service on a rider that would be $150 that would be it not $150+$75 and on then the push not $75+75 all we require is a min of $75 for any regular labor say you had a self propel that needed the carb cleaned and a belt well then you would add the carb cleaning of $40 plus the labor for the belt of $35 plus cost of belt $13 total of $98 thats it NOT $98+$75 ONLY $98 so I am sorry that you misunderstood our pricing structure and the appearnce of my mechanic but We do not make enough money here to afford uniforms they are too costly so we do not have them but if the gentleman blew up your motor They are insured for the coverage.
