This was a horrible and disappointing experience. Let the Buyer Beware! Have an attorney read this company's contract; you are ONLY PROTECTED UP TO THE COST OF THE INSPECTION no matter what goes wrong with your home. This company is self-insured. To date, we estimate that due to this disappointing service, the contracting work needed has been in excess of $50,000. What's more, we have estimates for work of an additional $110,000. We feel that if this company had done a proper inspection, we would have been released from our contract. We have attempted to take this company to court but due to the loopholes in the contract, we cannot. We did file a complaint with the NC State licensing board.

"THESE PEOPLE DID FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE NC STATE LICENSING BOARD. THE BOARD INVESTIGATED AND DETERMINED THAT THERE WAS NO BASIS FOR THE COMPLAINT. THEY THEN APPEALED THE COMPLAINT TO THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT. ONCE AGAIN, IT WAS FOUND THAT THERE NO BASIS FOR THE COMPLAINT. PLEASE READ THE OTHER VERY FAVORABLE COMMENTS ABOUT TOWN AND COUNTRY HOME INSPECTIONS THAT FOLLOW."
