Everything went great. After the initial estimate, the owner called back and said he would actually be able to get someone out almost 2 weeks earlier than initially estimated. Both the owner and the employee stayed in contact throughout the whole time. The employee was punctual and was great at keeping me up to date on the project and if there would be any delays for when he would get to the house to work. We just finished the final walkthrough with the owner and the employee and couldn't be happier with the results. I would highly recommend them.

Cant say enough good things about Josh. Its refreshing to finally find someone who is honest, up front, and does an amazing job! Josh provided a detailed quote to begin with and kept us informed the whole way through the project. Rather it be calling, texting, emailing..Josh was in constant contact the whole time. The work was more than we expected. It was quality and I cannot say enough good things about how satisfied we are. Replaced a broken stair tread on our inside staircase. He came and took a look at the problem and then called back with an estimate. We made an appointment and he came back and took care of the broken tread. He made suggestions about staging of repairs to the staircase as part of a larger house renovation project. Knowledgeable, professional, and polite.

Everything went well. We hired Josh to build a closet, and frame and drywall the entire 22 x 12 attic room. His work is top notch and we are happy with the results -- perfect corners and smooth walls. He always showed up on time, and kept us informed of his progress. Recommend highly.

Josh was very prompt. He provided estimates very quickly for all of our requests. Josh and his crew showed up promptly the first.day and everyday as planned until the work was complete. We were very impressed by how fast the painting was done. They kept the areas neat and clean, and protected our furniture and hardwood floors. We are consulting with Josh for some future projects. We enjoyed having josh and Kayla in our home.

I needed some flooring installed in a rental property and I found Josh on Angie's list. He was very professional and did top quality work. He was very responsive when I called him and called me back quickly. He showed up on time when we met for an estimate and the day that he did the work. I added some additional small projects that he was able to accommodate me on. All in all, I was very happy with the entire experience with Josh ( including the price) and I would definitely use him for future projects.

Could not be happier. We had to schedule this around a trip my daughter was taking out of town as it was a surprise for her birthday. Josh was very accommodating with the schedule. He arrived exactly at the time we agreed to. He and his team did a beautiful job and even corrected some problems left by previous painters. The work was accurate and they left the place neat and clean. They double and triple checked everything multiple times. I would hire them back in a heart beat.

Everything went smoothly and on time to expected scheduling. Josh gives good input on projects where alternatives may be more cost efficient. He and Kayla are respectful of owners and their homes and I guess that combined with the quality work they do makes them in growing demand. Oh, and Joshua wanted to do a final walk through with me to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. I had already paid him but he still wanted to come by, introduce himself (I live out of town) and go over the work he completed. It was a pleasure to finally meet Josh and Kayla....and I look forward to them doing some more work for me
in the next few weeks. Definitely recommend them for punctuality, price and quality of work.

Josh was contracted to paint several rooms in our recently moved into house. Josh and his assistant worked very carefully. He was very accommodating when asked to do something. He left the house as clean as when he arrived. He is quiet and diligent. He had to get into some really high areas and did a neat job.

First and foremost, Josh was responsive, timely, and trustworthy. We're new to town and Josh's ratings combined with his Angies List deal made this a pretty easy choice. There was another company we found on AL that postponed our painting date twice, so when Josh showed up a few minutes early on the appointed day, it was a real relief. I figured out in my head how much painting a pro would probably get done in six hours. Josh said we could prep the walls and space as much as we wanted. We wanted him to use his skills with the brush and roller - not with patching nail holes and moving furniture. So, we got everything off the walls, spackled and sanded a little, and moved the furniture into the middle of the room. I went to work and got home about 5.5 hours into Josh's time with us and he easily exceeded my estimate for what he should accomplish in six hours. He brought all of his own ladders, brushes, rollers, drop cloths and we provided the paint. He cleaned up as he worked and the finished product (one high-ceiling 16x18 family room and one hallway) really looked great. Before he left, I asked him to work up some quotes on some little home improvement projects - he does a lot more than just paint.
I'd highly recommend Josh and I plan on using him again on some light remodeling work! Thanks Josh :)

We responded to a special offer to have 6 hours of painting done for $199.
Josh Thomas responded quickly, and we set up a date to have the work done.
He arrived on time, worked quickly, and completed the work to our satisfaction.
When I decided that I did not like the look of the two plastic protective strips on the corners, Josh returned to remove them and then repaired and repainted the corners. This made a big difference in the final satisfaction with the job.
We recommend Thomas Trades for painting, and will keep them in mind for future carpentry and painting projects.

They arrived promptly, had all the necessary tools with them, worked efficiently, cleaned up, swept, moved furniture back, etc. They did an excellent job! They were friendly, polite -- I enjoyed having them!
Joshua gave me some cards to pass around to neighbors. He does much more than just paint! He does construction, drywalling, pressure washing and flooring. I probably left something out!
I recommend them highly and will have them back for more painting in the future.

Thomas Trades helped me with every detail of this total bathroom remodel. Josh went with me several times to Lowes to make sure I got the right shower door, shower pan, toilet and other materials. And unlike some contractors I got estimates from, Josh was totally comfortable with me getting the materials myself, because he knew that would save me money in the long run.
He works fast and carefully, which is a good combination. He dismantled the old bathroom in a day. He came up with many of his own ideas - which were much, much better than mine - and kept in touch with me every day about how things were going.
His work is impeccable and it was done in a timely manner. He did high-dollar work at an affordable rate, which is good, because I had a limited budget for doing the work. Do not think twice about hiring him for projects.
One thing I really appreciated was his making plans ahead of time, and not just jumping in, in order to do the job properly. Josh knew better than I did the order in which things should be done, and he gave me advice when he thought I needed to hear it. Not everyone would do that.
If I had more money, I'd hire him for more projects around my house - big and small.

Thomas Trades was a pleasure to work with. Josh texted me pictures of the work did just about every day (which I was pleasantly surprised at getting) and he responded to emails promptly. He also followed up with me to see how I liked the end product. The experience was above and beyond that of what I expected.
Josh also alerted me immediately (via text and/or phone call) when he discovered issues - such as the rotten boards. He's easy to work with, always has a good attitude and is the kind of guy you feel comfortable with.
The house itself looks amazing. The people who owned the house previously had picked a pretty but unusual paint color. I was worried about finding the same paint. Josh managed to find it, though - and the complimenting trim color, too. I really feel like this paint job will last a long time because he was so thorough.
I am definitely going to keep his name handy for other jobs.

I can't believe how good my floors look. My house is almost 90 years old, and the floors are original. They're in good shape, but have the usual scratches and paint splotches. Josh was able to restore them to their original state! They look great without being too glossy.
Josh always arrives when he says he will. He works efficiently but doesn't rush things.
