"FINALLY!! , Hi Mrs. Angela E., Well, it has been over one year since you hired me through HomeAdvisor to fertilize, feed, or treat your lawn. Your lawn and shrub bed weed treatment was performed on Aug 11, 17, and Sept 26, 2020. The weeds were eradicated (under NCDA pesticide guidelines) and you gave me a high approval on the outcome and paid your bill. Suddenly, however, on Sept 11, 2021, you frivolously recorded a low-quality performance of this work on Angi Leads. You stipulate that work is not by the HOA specs. FYI, the North Carolina Dept of Agriculture aka NCDA&CS, not the HOA or any HOA controls the guidelines for weed treatments. Additionally, you had turned down any future treatment! So, one year later, are we to assume or even be surprised that your weeds are an HOA issue now? As proprietor of Arthur lawn care, no contact with your HOA has ever occurred! 2. What POA weed control specs are you referring to? 3. Home Advisor was the original referral agency NOT Angi Leads where you decided to down rate Arthur. 4. As an Air Force Vietnam-era veteran and 40-year local small business owner, I am truly disappointed in your selection of Saturday, Sept 11, 2021, to spew forth some untrue mud on me and my business on the internet. Egregious and Shameless! 5. A telephone call on your part? Nah. 6. Does a nebulous, unfounded, and potentially damaging insult to the skill and quality of a person and his business constitute a cause of action for damages? So do not bother to ask."
