Upon receiving the couch, I had to send it back because the padding was not right. The flyer with the couch shows the dual spring, high density cushion, and precision engineered frame. The couch was lopsided from the beginning and the padding sunk down within a week. The technician agreed to take the pieces back and the store disagreed. The store said I did not specify that I wanted the high density foam. When I received it in March the left facing arm is ruined, torn at the bottom, stapled instead of sewn, and the back is bunched up & bent & the leather is torn. When you push out the chairs, the leather does not cover the padding. They then said they would repair the furniture again. I told them I did not want furniture that has been repaired three times and wanted to return it. The truck they returned the couch in December caused damage to lawn, gravel driveway and shrubs. I paid for NEW furniture, not furniture that has been repaired multiple times. UPDATE: It took Town & C until Dec 2014 to have some repairs made to this defective furniture. In that same month I informed them that the OTHER recliner has broken 12/14/14 I emailed T&C the folowing: The right-facing recliner will not recline/close without locking up upon closing. Anyone sitting in the recliner at that time must slide to the adjoining cushion to stand up and then close the chair without the weight of the person on it. When the chair is attempting to close & as it locks up, the motor sounds as if it is working hard and the footrest jerks. This is under warranty so should I contact Mr. Morelli to come here and fix it or do you intend to contact him? Chip Sobol's response: I will contact repair service and ask him about it. The final time he chose to respond to me was with this email: Sent: Saturday, December 20, 2014 3:22 PM To: barbaradenny Subject: Re: FW: Chip, Need a different repair company. I will do some research and get with you. I cant believe he doesnt work on motion furnitrue. Chip I also contacted Arleen Bracewell, Customer Service Manager Flexsteel Ind. Inc. Dublin, GA . She never replied. My email to her read: As you can see from the other attachments, the current problem with this furniture is separate and distinct from the previously described problems. To date, I have not received a reply from Chip Sobol, although I have emailed him two more times since the last date of these attachments. Since Flexsteel provides a warranty for their products, will you please advise me how to obtain service.
Description of Work: I purchased Flexsteel sectional couch from them on June 22 and delivered on August 22. I sent the couch back to them for the initial repairs in December, and I had to send it to them again in March. Additional problems since Dec 2014 - See below

Response from Town & Country Furniture
Customer received sectional & signed she had received sufficient time to inspect and found no defects or damages. (Attached).- Every piece of Flexsteal upholstery has dual spring and standard with high density cushion. Over three weeks later she called & stated her husbands side was uncomfortable for him. I hired a local repair tech to inspect and repair if needed – He stated could find any issues with sectional. Her husband may be uncomfortable because he is large & may sink in cushion more. –(attached) I went beyond what any other store would do and offered to pick up return recliners to Flexsteal and have installed high resiliency foam (HR) at no cost to her. – They were picked up & again signed no damages to property (attached) We redelivered recliners and again signed bill of lading free of defects or damages. She called next day and stated the back was damaged. Pictures shown a back pulled loose from bottom frame & a tear – the back are always stapled underneath to frame. You can’t see to wood. I stet even though it was signed free & clear I would again at no cost to her have a repair tech replace back in her home. – the yard damage was not noted but even though the home owner has responsibility to tell the driver of the poor condition of her gravel drive a landscaping firm was hired, again at no cost to her. The offer is still available to repair furniture in her home & review any other claims of defect she has.
