I called for an appointment for one of our service trucks and they told me to bring it in the next morning for an analysis. As is customary, they called later that day, told me what they found out, what my options were and how much it would cost me to repair. Upon my approval, they had it repaired by the end of the following day. Xpertech has been servicing my company trucks for a couple years now. They are always extremely accommodating, prompt and professional.

I heard about Xpertec from a friend who was very pleased with their honesty, quality of work and customer service. Their mechanic found the leak in very short order....made the repair and charged me a mere $68. I was looking at a possible $1,300 expense, so imagine how pleased I was with the results. Given the vagueness of vacuum systems, they could have easily hosed me....but instead, did an honest, cost effective repair. I heartily recommend Xpertec to all Ashevillians.

I located Expertech using Anie's list. I called and set appointment. Appointments are great! After some persisitance on Kevin's part he did locate the problem(S) and from there on it was smoothe sailing. Erin called and so did Kevin (the owner) so communication couldn't have been better. The young man who checked me in and out was very polite and professional. Kevin also gave me a good report on the truck overall telling me the brakes were fine and that the truck was in fine shape. (he actually drove it several times trying to diagnose the feeling/sound the truck was making). Very impressed and comfortable knowing that when I need service again I have a trustworthy and professional place to take my truck.

The last particular experience was good. The only problem I have there is that they are so popular and busy that I don't even get oil changes here. My wife took the car in and had to wait. I wouldn't mind doing oil changes there but the wait time is just unbelievable. I just don't have the time to waste two hours sitting and waiting for something, so typically I drop the car off. They are just so popular and good and so many people that go there, that is just the way it is. I guess it is like going to a restaurant that is very popular and not being able to get a seat right away. They are very honest. They don't try and pick something that could be replaced but isn't necessary, I mean any part in the car can be replaced some way or another, but he doesn't say replaced unless it REALLY needs replaced.

The work was completed before end of day, Erin at the shop called me to advise and gave me the breakdown of services. I was impressed by the staff professionalism on the phone, the efficiency in diagnosing issues, and relaying all info simply and concisely. I did not actually set foot in the shop until I got a ride to pick up my vehicle...everything was handled by phone and my faith in Angie's List customer reviews. Excellent service, knowledgeable staff, and honest/fair pricing. Thank you Angie's List!

He is a wonderful auto mechanic and I think that he is the best. I have two cars and one of them is 12 years old and the other even older. He will tell me what is necessary and what could be done and what isn’t worth it. He does a job at what I consider a very reasonable price. My wife was going out of town and she realized that there was no fluid in the windshield wiper and also that she hadn’t had it checked over in a long time. We checked the records and it hadn’t been checked over since the last spring. She called them and said it is 22 days away before she leaves and they said to leave the car there and that they would squeeze it in and they did. She needed the car no later than Saturday afternoon and they said to leave it there on Friday and they took care of it. I spent about $30 and that was for the normal price. His name is Bouraah and he is very good. His wife is Robin Bouraah and she frequently handles the phone. He is the guy that everyone goes to. He has a crew and all of them work to his high standards. We have no problem as to which one of the men is doing the work because the work comes out nice.

I recently moved from New York to Asheville and suddenly have those darn dashboard lights going off. Panic set in as I didn't know anyone yet who could recommend a trustworthy mechanic. Found Xpertech on Angie's List. I called and they got me in that day and ran a systems check and a road test. The part was ordered and installed a couple days later. This had to be the most PAINLESS car repair I have ever had. Everyone was courteous, knowledgeable, efficient and communicated well as to the problem and the remedy. And the cost was amazingly reasonable. My husband needs to get his car in for a brake job; he's been advised he isn't allowed to take his car anywhere but to Xpertech.

My car would not start. I called XperTech and they said I could bring in my car and they would try to look at it that day. My car was towed into a lot that was brimming with cars that needed service. I did not expect my car to be looked at that day, however, I was surprised when I received a phone call later that day. They wanted permission to look at the timing belt to see if that was the cause of the problem. I said yes. The next day they detailed what needed to be done and I agreed to the work. Since my car had not been service in 5 years, I was lucky that it wasn't much worse. Additionally, I use a specific type of synthetic oil and they agreed to put in my oil and filter free of charge.

I had gotten an estimate for brake work from a local competitor around $800 and decided to look for an alternative shop after reading the reviews on Angie's list I went with xpertech. I took the car in and they had an estimate much lower than I expected. They completed the work quickly and let me know what type of repairs I was going to need in the future. They were very professional and affordable. I will definitely be coming back, it was a superb first experience.

They are very professional and timely in their repairs. The pricing is very fair, as well. They are also extremely nice people to deal with.

Like other reviewers, found this mechanic to be one you can trust to act in customer's best interest. I'll be back!

My car would intemittenly not start. Xpertech was recommended so I checked with Angie's List and neighbors and got very favorable reports. When i called they asked me to bring in the car if it would start. Robin, at the desk, knew the correct questions to ask. They checked my battery and determined it was the starter beginning to go bad. I decided to have it replaced immediately and they drove me home while they worked on it. Two hours later they picked me up and everything has been running perfectly since then.

It has always gone very well. Absolutely no complaints, only compliments.

Our daughter lives alone, in Asheville NC, several hours drive away from us. Her older car had been smoking, overheating and making strange noises, and we feared we d have to replace the car soon. I got a list of car service providers from Angie s list-Asheville, and our daughter chose Xpertech Car Care, which is within walking distance of her residence. I asked them to inspect the car thoroughly, bumper-to-bumper, and report any needed repairs to me. After a day s inspection, they reported the most major problem, a badly broken water pump, plus some other minor repairs. Otherwise, the car was in good condition. I authorized the repairs, and our daughter picked up the car the following day. The Xpertech Car Care people were extremely nice and totally professional. They worked fast, and their pricing was reasonable. They even provided our daughter a short list of non-urgent repairs to be done within the next few months. They will definitely get repeat business from us, plus our referrals to other potential customers. Thanks to Xpertech Car Care, we now know the actual condition of the car, and are relieved to know we don t have to replace it any time soon. In our opinion, Xpertech Car Care deserves a place on the Page of Happiness.

They are fast and will tell you everything they did in detail. You can tell they just want to run things right.

He is the best mechanic in town. He knows his business and will try to save his customers money. He is great in finding parts at a lower cost. His concern is always for the good of his customer. I highly recommend him.

Sometimes I drop it off, sometimes I schedule an appointment whichever is more convenient for the both of us. I don't recall having any problems everything has been done exactly right. Would highly recommend to others.
