It was a very rewarding experience .

The walk is beautiful and makes my yard look like a resort area.  it was designed to blend in with the yard.  The view from my window is magnificant.  In addition to being esthetically appealing, the walk is functional.  Patrick and Chad were easy to work with, friendly, professional and accomodating.  They did extra work such as landscaping and inserting drain systems to integrate the walk with my yard.  They will be following up to make sure it levels.

From beginning to end, this was an exceptionally good experience. Patrick is very easy to communicate with and very attentive to the homeowner's wishes. I had a broad outlines idea of what we wanted to achieve and with his experience we settled in on a very good plan. The end result is not a standard walkway. It is clearly a project that had a lot of forethought and great execution. We used random shaped flagstones, 2 different types, which require considerable skill and patience to place well. We also shaped the walkway to blend in with the site and placed a large stone monolith around which the walkway was constructed. Patrick and his crew did a fantastic job in all respects. We get a lot of walkers on our quiet street and many stop to take a look, expressing admiration. Both in terms of function and aesthetics, we couldn't be happier!

Overall it went very smooth despite the rain.  When it became evident the rain was coming he was there with the perfect size tarp and then was very considerate with mud and tracking in and around the house.  He was very polite and good at explaining everything to me.

My wife and I built an addition on our house, and were left with water pooling up in a spot behind or house. We also added a new entryway, and had to devise a place for guests to park in front of our house. Pat worked with us in determining the most cost effective, appropriate way of dealing with these issues. The end result was beautiful stone work on our property, and all our water issues solved. Pat and Chad were great to work with! They showed up when they said they would, and were flexible regarding changes we wanted to make. I would absolutely recommend Stolenmaier Hardscape for any rock work, or landscaping!
