The entire experience was wonderful, I was very nervous about being awake while the surgery would be performed. The team that worked with Dr. Macaluso were like a fine oiled machine. They were kind, observant and worked like they all day to treat me. Things went very smooth and quickly. In no time I was walking to my car with the nurse and my daughter.
I will have to have my other eye operated when that cataract is ready. I will be going back to Dr. Macaluso.
I followed the directions and have gotten along fine. I feel good and my vision is very good.

Dr Macaluso always greets me with a smile and a handshake. Dr Macaluso has been treating me for several years and he performed surgery on my eye. He follows me regularly and he is always prompt, engaging, kind in his care.He is considered the top of his field.He gives you information about your condition and prognosis in easy to understand manner. He told me prognosis on my condition and options for care and imparted difficult information about my condition in a kind manner.He called me at home the night after my surgery to inquire about my condition.I would recommend him to anyone with a corneal or eye condition.
The date above is approximate as I have been seeing Dr Macaluso since about 05, surgery about 06 or 07 and continued excellent care about every 6-12 months since then.
