We were scheduled to start on a Thursday but they called and were able to start a day early, which was great. The crew came in and went right to work and got the job done in a few days, exactly what we were told at the time of the estimate.
Re-roofing is a messy and they did a great clean up job, we have not found a single nail. There were a few places on the house that had some black marks but they took care of that right away.
The office staff was very friendly and helpful the couple of times I needed to call.
Our house looks so super cute! I highly recommend John Mc Clung and their crew. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again but I sure hope I don't need a roofer for a very long time. I'm glad they have a lifetime guarantee!

Extra Praise:
We had skylights installed at the same time, so the inside work had to be coordinated with the outside job. McClung's crew was very good about working with, and around, the interior contractor. We threw a couple of curveballs and they responded well. Always courteous, adjusting things when necessary. We were impressed.
Two thirds of the roof was on when rain started to move in. The crew worked until 9pm to finish what needed to be done. Then someone came back and worked until 10pm, making sure everything was tacked down and the tarp was on well. Jesse called the next morning to make sure we were dry on the inside. Nice touch.
McClung's uses Rhino something-or-other instead of regular felt (tarpaper). Do your research: it's better. We asked our other estimates if they'd use it and were told the price would go up. McClung came in right where our other 4 estimates did and they only use Rhino.
We think it's worth mentioning that we got our estimate in April and, due to this and that, didn't go through with the project until August. Jesse picked right up where we left off, and McClung's honored the price quote 4 months later. They also moved us up, since we had an obvious leak by this time. Thanks, Jesse.
Bottom Line: Great company, great crew, great product. We're happy!
They only stopped for lunch. They finished ahead of time and did a great job of cleanup. They were extremely accomodating.
