I called for the appointment and left a voice mail. I received a return call about 4 - 5 hours later. I went in for the appointment which started on time. Being my first visit, we spent time doing the usual first time consultation. I felt that Lindsey understood my style and preferences. I gave a few options of what I had been considering and she gave her input and advice. I asked her about her experience, education, and previous jobs, which were good and helped put me at ease that she had considerable skill and ability. The cut went well. She was friendly and concentrated more on the cut than socializing (which I appreciated). She styled and used a new product on me. This was the first time I felt comfortable and confident in the stylist's ability since moving to Asheville. I liked her cut so much that I booked my next two appointments after the cut, something I've never done before. Final good thing, she's not a product pusher. The product she did recommend could be purchased at most any store. The person who recommended Lindsey to me has wavy hair; when she gave the recommendation, she did so with the caveat that she has wavy hair and most of her friends who she's sent to Lindsey also have wavy, longish hair. My hair is straight, short, and styled. Lindsey did a great job. I'm gathering she skilled and experienced with a variety of cuts and styles. My hair is my only good physical feature, so for good or ill, I take my cuts seriously. I recommend Lindsey without hesitation. This has been the least expensive cut I've received in Asheville and the best! I'm happy to have finally found my stylist.
