If I could leave a zero star review I would. They basically bait and switched the item I purchased with the item they sent to my recipient. Then proceeded to call me crazy. They said that they are allowed to substitute an item if it is not in stock of equal value but the item they substituted was less than the cost I purchased for the original item. Then when I told them that it clearly states on their website that those two products are not the same value. They called my recipient and complained to them, and then called me to tell me that the person received the flowers said it was fine. Harass someone that is in the hospital for flowers I purchased, is NOT OK! They could have chosen a different item that was of equal value but chose something that was of less value. DO NOT GO HERE. They don't even try to contact you to tell you they are substituting your purchase, they just do it. Then yell and threaten you, then harass the person that you send the flowers to. Terrible customer service.

Poorly. Ordered 2 splendid orchids from them. They were a tele floral order so I expected some change but did not expect substantially smaller arrangements with wilted nearly dead leaves. Contacted the flower shop & was told they would have the owner contact me. Owner never called. Flower shop employee called back and said “we are sorry you were dissatisfied with your order”. The end. No offer to reduce or compensate pricing based on small size. Have lived in Asheville most of my life and remember when this florist had a lovely reputation. Will never purchase from them again! Should have read their horrible reviews before ordering but truly had no idea they were so poorly run or the flowers were so poorly cared for.

ordered flowers via website that were not delivered and when I inquired about it I was berated, cussed, threatened and bullied. Problem - June 21, 2012 Purchase - June 21, 2012 These are the emails I have received from this business. I have not threatened or cussed this person in return other than to state I would leave reviews for them to make future customers aware. June 22, 2017 8:30 PM We have left for the day If she was in ICU, they do not allow us to leave them at the hospital until she is assigned a regular room I will have to check tomorrow June 23, 2017 5:10 AM Sorry for the confusion I have been at this almost 30 years now and they have never allowed us to leave because they have no idea what room they are assigned once they come out of ICU, so they are basically lost in the shuffle June 23, 2017 9:01 AM Was delivered to her room on the 21st as requested, after surgery yesterday, she never went back to that room because of ICU and all of her belonging were given to someone in that family pet the hospital June 23, 2017 5:05 PM U know I really prefer not to deal with customers like u, I have a huge clientele that I have had for 30 years that knows how i operate and how I work and I have never taken anyone for a dime in my career. I will be happy to answer ur reviews and lets folks know how ugly u are, when we did our job and delivered to the room that was given to us by the hospital. I am not quite sure where u think ur attitude is gonna get u, because I don't play ur game. I will follow up with the hospital and see where ur vase of yellow daisies went and be in touch and for future reference, u should not send flowers to a patient having heart surgery til u are sure everything works out, sometimes they are there for days in ICU. Description of Work: Flowers ordered online and were to be delivered to hospital. When they were not delivered, I received the series of emails below and had to finally tell the person emailing me to stop or I would go to magistrate's office to press charges if they continued to threaten, harass and bully me.

Arrangement delivered was much smaller than what was advertised on the website. It was a Teleflora arrangement, so I expected some of the flowers to be different. I am complaining about the number of flowers and size of the arrangement. Even more upsetting was the fact that when I complained rather than apologizing for the misunderstanding and my lack of satisfaction with the product, he sent back an email calling me unprofessional for emailing instead of calling and proceeded to detail how wrong I was when the picture of what I thought I was buying is right there on his own website. I wish I could share a photo of what I received here but it will not post on the mobile version. I gave an F on responsiveness because he was so rude. He did respond quickly.

I called the flower shop to advise them of the situation. I spoke with some woman who advised me that their driver had to go to the emergency room for some reason & was not available. But, I could bring the arrangement in to their shop & they would 'look at it'. I advised her that I did not have time to bring in this arrangement for them 'to look at', 'The owner is not here & this is what I was advised to tell you we could do........end of conversation About 35-40 minutes later, I got a call back & this same woman said they would just come pick it up. I asked if they were going to fix the arrangement & bring it back or just what was the resolution going to be? She said that she did not know, 'the owner is not here". I advised this woman that I was not going to let the arrangement be picked up unless I had some assurance that it would be returned simply because it was a Limited Edition Thomas Kinkaid. She said again that she was told that they could just pick it up. So my reply was that if they could send someone out to pick it up, just send 3 or 4 of those fresh little sprigs of small red roses & we'll put them in place of the dead ones. She said 'Oh, the driver doesn't know how to do that" I said don't worry about that because my wife was in the flower shop business before & had also put in 10 years in the floral department at The Biltmore Estate which is right here in Asheville, NC If you can just do that we'll call it good. Once again, "the owner is not here". About 45 minutes or so, their driver showed up to pick up the arrangement but the driver could not give any assurance as to what the outcome was going to be. He said " I can call the owner for you & you can talk to him". I was on the phone with my brother who had placed the order from Florida & I got a call waiting signal. It was the owner who basically blessed me out without giving me the opportunity to have any say, wished me a nice Christmas & hung up one me. My brother made a complaint with Teleflora & I made one as well. Teleflora said that they would be working to get a replacement sent out to us. Regardless of what Gudger's may say, this is EXACTLY how it all happened. I don't know if this shop is under new management or not but we have had deliveries in the past from this same shop but have never received such unprofessional service. Needless to say, it's the last.
Description of Work: This was a Teleflora order delivery for Limited Edition Thomas Kinkaid floral arrangement. The arrangement was delivered at 10AM on Dec 20, 2014. We immediately added water as you are supposed to & kept if well watered. By the next day, Sunday Dec 21, 2014 all the small roses were dead by afternoon.
